Does anyone know of a nurse practitioner program that sets up clinicals and preceptors for its students? Thanks so much.

Georgetown University, University of Mary, University of North Dakota. They offer online programs, but help with setting up clinicals.

I have the same question. I am interested in any school in any state that sets up clinicals/preceptors. I do not want the headache of trying to set up my own. I have been accepted into a program near my home. However, they do not set up clinicals and I am hearing from others in the program that it is a nightmare. Thanks for any input.
Richard Stockton in NJ has been a great help to me. I'm in my second semester and just started clinical. They placed me and I am so happy! Keep in mind that they encourage you to find places that are closer to you geographically, and if you are interested in a certain place they will try and help you. They will usually place you in a facility close to the school, which in in Galloway, NJ (near the shore). Also, it is a hybrid program so you would need to be on campus, usually 1-2 nights a week. If you live in Jersey then I highly recommend it!

The University of Virginia does as well. We only admit as many people as we have assured clinical placements. We feel it puts a student at a disadvantage to locate and negotiate their own clinical education.
