And nothing is current for those that are under the EB-3 category, just as expected.

Thanks for posting this. Also vert interesting that is came out this early, about ten days earlier than usual. Probably sent out to answer all of the calls and e-mails that they have been getting.

Can someone explain how to read this bulletin? There are 4 tables with abbreviations that are not clearly explained, and the connection between them is also hard to figure out. Which of these tables and which line/abbeviation is related to nurses? One table mentions 2002, another says "Current" etc...

I also wonder (the question I never got an answer for), are all countries equally affected by retrogression? Is there any way to find out how long is the queve for my particular country, or is it the same for all countries?

All nurses are affected and to read the bulletin at the moment all nurses come under EB3 so that is what you look at and then if from the Philippines then you look under the heading Philippines and it will tell you what they are currently processing which at the moment is Aug 02. If not from one of the countries mentioned in the heading then you come under the heading rest of the world. It does not show each individual country if not mentioned in the heading

You are under the EB-3, which is the third level under the employer-sponsored petition. Right now, all are affected by the retrogression, and continue to be since October 31 of last year.

There is mention of what they are doing with the AOS petitions in the beginning of that Bulletin, and essentially states that there are no visas available currently for anyone.

When there was a Schedule A visas, under which category were they listed?

Schedule A had a separate list in the table to show its availability but it actually is under EB3.

There is no Schedule A and there has not been one since the February Bulletin came out in January of this year.

All RNs are included under the EB-3 category, the Schedule A was just a sub-category of that in the past.

Do not expect the Schedule A to reappear.

After passing NCLEX, I thought everything was going to be fast. Current situation proved me wrong. There are no visas available and it could take years before I can set foot in the US.

For now, I am looking for other opportunities abroad. It seems that US doesn't really need foreign nurses. The focus is on hiring more faculty, improving workplace condition, attracting more US nurses to come back into the profession, and increase the number of US nursing graduates every year.

I am thinking of going to Australia. I have been to Melbourne once and it was really a very nice place.
