Congratulations! I am finishing my last prerequisites this semester and then applying in April. What did you use to study for the Kaplan & how was the interview process? I heard there is an essay to write. Was that hard? Thank you in advance for any insight about the whole process!

I used the Hesi a2 book for math, science, and some online resources like quizlet . Honestly, you should more focus on the interview.

Review your fractions, decimals, and I also reviewed math problems from a math for nurses book I had and glad I did bc I had a drip rate calculation question on the portion of my math Kaplan. Also review your physiology!!! Focus on the major systems like cardio, resp, renal, digestive. Make connections in your studying and watch ALOT of you tube videos on Kaplan tips! I had a few questions that I also saw on the DAT when I was thinking of applying to dental school on cardiology and respiratory, homeostasis, sympathetic and parasympathetic systems. Hope that helps!!
