Nova Southeastern

Today I am sending my application to Nova Southeastern for the Fall 2009. Excited and hopeful. Give me a shout out if you are sending your application as well.:yeah:

i was originally talking about ft. myers. i have a packet at the post office that i can pick up tomorrow that will hopefully be it. thats a ridiculously short deadline. thank you though cuz i will call them if its not the right packet.

Just got my letter!! ill be starting in the fall as well!! Yeyyy! Is anyone applying to the Baptist option?

.....for all who got accepted congrats, but I have a quick question...if you dont mind sharing....what was your GPA and how was the interview ?

-thank you

Specializes in I'd like to go into oncology....

I plan on applying to the Baptist Option. I have been an employee of Baptist for over 6 years and love working for them. I can't imagine working for anyone else...might as well get the scholarship and continue working for them after graduation. I've already put together my application...I'm just updating my resume right now. Anyone else planning on applying?

RNTBKB - I have a combined overall GPA of 3.4 but my pre-req GPA is 3.8 and my science GPA is a 4.0. I thought my interview went pretty well. A lot of the questions they ask don't need much preparation - but they'll ask you questions like why do you want to become a nurse, your strengths/weaknesses, and a couple of scenarios to see how you would act. They interviewers were very easy going and made the process very comfortable. Good luck to you.

I will also be applying to Baptist!

Thank you, and Congrats again :yeah:

Does anyone know if we have to have both those scholarship recommendation evaluation sheets filled out that they sent us plus the 2 recommendation letters as well? Or is it either or? im confused.

It's only the scholarship recommendations forms...

Has everyone paid their deposit yet? I think I'm going to go in person on Friday...

By the way, for all my fellow Baptist applicants, I was told by a friend who is in the Scholar's Program at FKCC that the interview questions are similar to those that were asked at the Nova interview. It's funny though...we just went through 6-8 weeks of waiting and anxiety and now we're going to have to do it all over again. I don't think we'll know about Baptist till end of July because they have to do interviews too...

congrats to everyone that got accepted at fort lauderdale and fort myers. does anyone have any suggestions as to where to live in fort myers or is anyone looking or know someone looking for a roommate in fort myers?

thanks!

We send the Baptist application to Vlad right? Not directly to Baptist?

Specializes in I'd like to go into oncology....

It appears that way...it seems kind of confusing since it has the Baptist address on the application. But it says on the letter from Nova to send it to Vlad and also on the front page of the application. I wonder how big our entering class is going to be.

Anyone have an idea what the schedule is going to be like?
