  1. I got an email that says the interviews will go through November 12th for you guys. Thought you guys might wanna know.
  2. I think it was like 2 or 3 months. I was in one of the last groups to be interviewed. And the acceptance letter takes just as long. I thought the interview was really stressful because im shy. But they ask like scenarios and what you would do and to put things in order of priority. They also ask why you chose Nova. Just a conversation really. But really just smile and ask questions about the school.
  3. I am in my first semester there now. My GPA was a 3.2 and they called me for the interview 2 or 3 days before they wanted me to come in, which was just a few months before school started. Be prepared to wait! I know how you feel and all Im gonna say is that they are very unorganized and the students are the last to know anything. I do think they just started interviewing this week though. (I know because our class is doing the tours) Good Luck!
  4. I only know that generic FAU nursing only accepts about 30 students and something like 500 apply. So, you need a really nice GPA.
  5. Ok im getting really excited and I think im going to start getting some of the things that we need to start school. Does anybody know what type of stethoscope we need? Can it be any color?
  6. The one I took told you the score when you were done.
  7. You apply to Nova first, then baptist. I wouldnt apply to Nova only for Baptist though because its realllllly hard to get into. I think that broward college has something like that with the local hospitals.
  8. Thanks... I miss the most obvious stuff
  9. For our physical exam, is there a form that needs to be filled out or do we just have the doctor write a letter or something. Also, with the immunizations is there specific paperwork that needs to be filled out?
  10. OK... going off topic. Does anybody know what color our scrubs are going to be? I heard a blue color ( Is that like JD or Turk from scrubs? lol)
  11. He said tuition is due 30 days after the first day of classes. Though in the acceptance letter, it says its due earlier. I dunno. This entire thing is a little flusterating.
  12. I talked to somebody in Fin Aid in nursing last week and he said that I would probably need to just take out loans for the entire amount and my grant money ect. would be refunded to me. He said it takes like a month for some loans to go through after they are certified by Nova.
  13. Did anybody fill out the "NSU state aid application" yet? Because the website says that I need to but when I click the link it doesnt exist. When should we actually apply for loans? (To be sure we have the funds in time?) After we get our award letter?
  14. I brought it there.. Im just worried about getting forgotten about. What if it got lost? Im a little panic-y lol Im just so excited to start. I think ill call tomorrow though to make sure.
  15. I gave my deposit to Ft. Lauderdale a little over a week now and the check still has not cleared with the bank yet. Has anybodies check gone through? i know that it takes a little while for it to go through all the departments.. but I just want to make sure they didnt forget about me...
