I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

currently applying or plan on applying, a former applicant, a current student, I'd love to hear from you!
Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
Trust me if you want. I am a student who came from Broward College with a G.P.A of 3.91. I applied to Nova Southeastern University. I really regret to go over there. I am seeing people who are killing themselves on this website to go Nova or are crying because Nova did not call them. You better say thank you to God because you did not put an unnecessary loan on you. I think that Nova is harder than Broward College and Miami dade. And with this community schools you will be almost without debt. I understand a lot of you would like to be nurses, but be careful because in the $18 will be started $10 will be for Nova. Be careful, because they used to pay a nurse $24 per hour, but not anymore. At nova, you will find any help. It is like paying more money for more efforts. Good luck for those who do not want to listen!!!
Any positive words to give? We know how expensive Nova is it's not a big surprise that is going to smack us in the face. Some of us don't need loans to pay for it. The fact of the matter is becoming a Nurse is a goal for many of us and we want to get to that goal regardless. Good Luck Everybody.
Ok so it wasn't just me a little disturbed by this guy's negativity. I am guessing Nova didn't accept "Novabad" even with his stellar 3.91 GPA. Now he has a personal vendetta against the school. Maybe his GPA was good enough but his attitude probably came out during his interview. Good Luck Samiam and everybody else, ignore the negativity get what you want out of life and do whatever you have to do to get there.

Don't you understand that I am a student that was already accepted last semester and in the program. Last semester, they did not have any interview. I was one of the first group of students that was accepted. They just returned back this semester with the interview in order to steal other innocent students money and their GPA.
If you are really a student, you are already miserable because every nursing program you applied they always deny you or you never get accepted. But me, I am so lucky that I am in a nursing program that people are crying for and now I am trying to avoid this stupid debt to other fair students. Even though, people are paying out of their pockets, it is still a deficit. Because, you can do something else with the money. Private schools must be less efforts because you are paying more.
i am aware of the cost... and for me is not a problem to put myself in debt as long as is my education the purpose of it.... I rather go to nova or fiu, or barry than any of the colleges mentioned before.... yes they r not that expensive but their degree is not what i want.... I am so happy that i got accepted .. . :)

!good luck to everyone whose being interviewed this week...i am NERVOUS my interview is this thursday! for the essay questions are you writing an introductory paragraph or an entire essay
