I am starting at Lenox Hill as well! Starting salary is about 102k, plus 6k for night shift, and then a little over $1000 for having a BSN.
Also, this is from an ICU manager at Lenox Hill about how the program is supposed to run for Critical Care!
"The program runs for one year and is divided into three phases. The first phase is spent in the classroom where the fellows will work directly with our educators off-unit to establish the knowledge base necessary to work within the critical care setting. They will participate in weekly simulations at Northwell’s Center for Learning and Innovation on Long Island in a high-fidelity lab during this phase. The first phase lasts approximately 2-3 months. The second phase is the orientation phase and is spent on the unit with a preceptor. During this phase, fellows will apply the knowledge learned during their time in the classroom, have an opportunity to hone their skills, and become well-accustomed to the flow of the unit. The orientation phase lasts approximately 3-4 months. The third phase is the working phase. Fellows will complete their orientation and be independent on the unit. During this phase, they are paired with a unit mentor to serve as an additional clinical resource besides unit leadership. This phase lasts approximately 6 months."

Thank you! I’m applying to fellowships because I’m looking forward to having the didactic and on-unit training for several months. I definitely want to feel comfortable before being fully independent. It sounds like North Shore and other Northwell fellowships are a great place to receive such training in these specialties.
