Northlake/El Centro Spring 09

Anyone waiting to get accepted for the Spring 09 ADN program at Northlake or El Centro out there?

I know that letters (snail mail) is not even going out until 10/15, but it's killing me. Five more weeks until we find out. I feel like my life is on hold.:banghead:

I'm positive I put Northlake as my second choice. I'm a little confused.

Was your gpa on the 5 classes 3.6? I am just trying to make sure it wasn't cummulative.

What did your letter say? Mine started with Congratulations on your acceptance at NLC.... Your prerequisite gpa is 3.60 and youve completed.... saying all my info. Then it listed the info for each campus.

Then it told me if I haven't finished my other pre-req that I have to register for them in the Spring.

It states that my pre-req grade is 3.6 with 14 credit hours og general support...blah blah. Please note that your ranking is lower than that of the last person accepted for Spring 09...

Maybe it's because I didn't put northlake as my first choice? I pulled out the copies, I put it as my second. I'm e-mailing Kanora.

Does it say for both campuses or just El Centro. It looks to me like they only considered you for the El Centro campus.

Did you keep a copy? You might call and double check with them, if they can tell you. Did they send your package back?

It might be but I wouldn't think that would matter (what order). Northlake was my first choice.

You're so sweet. I guess they didn't consider me for North Lake. They should just be clear on how the pool works. I put it as my second choice. So I guess they just went for the top 50 that applied to North Lake as their first choice. Then if they needed more slots, they'd pull from the ones who didn't get into El Centro. That's the explaination I have. I'm not too worried about it. It just wasn't my time I guess. There's always next time.

Kanora just happens to be on jury duty today.
