Northlake/El Centro Spring 09

Anyone waiting to get accepted for the Spring 09 ADN program at Northlake or El Centro out there?

I know that letters (snail mail) is not even going out until 10/15, but it's killing me. Five more weeks until we find out. I feel like my life is on hold.:banghead:

I'm waiting with you! What's your gpa? I have a 3.6 on the 5 pre-reqs and a 4.0 on the co- but I only have 6 hours for those.

i am not sure about my gpa bcoz i have other xtra classes on my transcript but of the 5 pre-reqs i have one b and also another b in the co-reqs, all other classes i have a's. i have finished all the co-reqs required though. its probably maybe a 3.8 or something.

Wow - you all have great GPA's. Mine is just a 3.0. I hope it's good enough to get accepted this time around. It seems no matter how hard I study that I'm still just a B student. I also hope it's good enough to keep me in NS once i'm there. I've fought so long to get where I am, I really want to make this work. We have basically 4 more weeks of waiting til the 10/15 letters go out.:banghead:

Been counting down the days! I've heard that last semester they let 2.6s and up in, so I hope something like that still runs true!

Yeah i also heard that some years they accept really low GPA's. It usually just depends on how well people do that year. A couple of years back, almost everyone accepted had a 4.0 but this was a while back. So we just wait and see, and 4 more weeks!!!:heartbeat:redbeathe

Is anyone taking any classes this semester just to pass the time or up your gpa? I'm taking Dosages, Pharm and HPRS 1271 just to hopefully prepare myself for entrance into NS. The dosages class will also apply to Brookhaven's program. I may apply to Brookhaven/Mountain View in the Fall if I'm not accepted at El Centro... Just trying to keep busy...:yawn:

Am kinda in the same boat!! am taking Nutrition, Philosophy( thot it wud b Fun), Govt and Pharmacoogy!! all the classes count towards a BSN except pharm, and its not a co-req for elcentro/northlake. I also have a bunch of other classes too tht apply to a BSN so hopefully i will use them later!!! The sem is such a drag :yawn:for me bcoz all i can think about is getting in the program!!

hello! I applied for nursing program for Spring 09.

I am just wondering if you guys also can see "AD Student Handbook 2008-2009", "Preceptor Handbook 2008-2009", "AD Nursing Program General Syllabi 2008-2009" and so on in the [AD Nursing] tab of Community page from DCCCD ecampus.:typing
