I am at a new Hospital here in Carson, Continue Care Hospital of Carson Tahoe, it's in the old Carson Tahoe building.

I've never heard of that hospital, but I know where you're talking about. How long has it been there?

Sam and I were camped behind the FERN camp there. fun times. but yeah it's me TJ from the wonderful world of CIC (night shift) on the Tahoe 6th floor.

No, I was back in town manning the ED. Half the staff, more patients. It's awesome. I keep thinking I'm going to go out to Burning Man one of these years. Sounds like a lot of fun.

oh yeah? well there is always next year and the volunteering part with REMSA.

You get a free ticket to burning man and get paid minimum wage for your 12 hour shift.

Yeah, I know some people go to work their one shift and enjoy the rest of the week. I think the med tent would be an interesting experience. I'm just not sure how much I want spend a week in the sun and dust.

I always say I'll go next year and never do. Maybe I'll actually go next year. :p

Add another one to your list - from further north (and east) - traveler in Winnemucca.

At least I'll be a traveler again if they ever let me leave here - last time I was here they kept me 8 months and this time the head nurse has threatened to let the air out of my truck tires!

I love it out here - I enjoy living in small towns close enough to go the city when I want to do "city stuff". I've been running back and forth to Reno regularly.

I've only been to Winnemucca once. It seemed like a nice small town, but I got food poisoning there, so I associate Winnemucca with being sick. :p
