:up: Good to see a Northern Nevada thread going. While I am in Erie, PA, I did a travel assignment in Reno in the Trauma and ICU Courtyard for about 8 months, back in 2003-2004. I absolutely LOVED it out there! Great people in general, friendly nurses, and really friendly docs which I am not used to on the Eastern part of the country. I had a blast when I was out there!

yeah, we're pretty lucky when it comes to docs. There are only a few I have issues with. Only one I really can't stand...but he terrorizes everyone, not just nurses.

I didn't have the displeasure to meet the doc out there that terrorized. How come the ER got rid of all of their travelers? I know when I was in the ICU, the ER had a ton of travelers.

I've been lucky and haven't had any horrible experiences with docs here either.

Haha that's a good question. We had some this spring, and life was great. No staffing issues. Then they up and cancelled them mid-contract. We've been woefully short ever since. They finally approved travellers again and they start Monday. Thank god.
