It's a little early but I just wanted to start this to see if anybody has heard from Northeastern University regarding an interview or decision. All posts about the school/application and acceptance process welcomed!! Looking forward to hearing from some people!
Has anyone got accepted to the psych track? I interviewed Jan 12th and still haven't heard anything
I was wondering the same thing. I think I might have already said this but I interviewed for the psych track the same day and I thought it went really well. She even told me I was an excellent candidate and she would love to work with me in the future.... It's been a month! It's killing me. I already got waitlisted for MGH so I'm losing hope more and more everyday. Also for those of you who got accepted whats the deposit amount and how long do they give you to send it in?

They haven't send out the packet yet, but I think the deposit is $1000.
So I'm wicked nervous that I haven't heard anything yet- not a peep besides my application being complete. Should I email admissions or call? I don't want to add complications or seem annoying. . .
I called roughly two days ago and they said they were still review applications. Acceptance letters should be going out my March/April
Nice to know there's a page where people who applied can chat about the application process. Congratulations to those who have been accepted already and good luck to those who have not heard back. Just curious if anyone applied to the Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner track for their specialty and if they have heard anything in terms of interview or acceptance/rejection? Thanks.
@byang - Applied for the Pediatric NP specialty and just got word yesterday that I've been accepted to the ABSN portion! Hadn't heard anything from them since I submitted my application and was convinced I had been rejected after reading about the interviews, so this was a really nice surprise :)

@Kcullen, I myself also got the same news but my only concern is that they do a lot of online training. I'd rather one on one. Has anyone heard from current or prior students about the ABSN program at NEU? What are the pros and cons?

I think it went well, it felt more like a conversation. She asked about why I chose the fnp speciality and about my goals. The remainder of the time was spent going over the details of the program and allowing me to ask any questions. It lasted about 30min.
Like others have posted here, I have mixed feelings. NEU is not my top choice and I kinda got the impression that there is a bit of disorganization in terms of securing clinical sites.
I found out yesterday I was accepted into MGH (my top choice) and I'm supposed to hear back from UPENN today so I'm still trying to figure everything out.
