Nope. They just sent me an email last week saying my financial aid was processed and will be ready 2 months before the program starts. I'm going in person on Thursday to drop off my transcripts so I'll ask and keep you updated.

I got into the MGH psych track too for this Fall! You're the first person I've seen on this site going to MGH for the same track . Anyways I just heard that MGH may not take transfer credits anymore for things such as pathophysiology, but I'm not 100% sure. For those of you wondering/planning on applying next year I had a 3.2 undergrad GPA and a 3.9 pre-reqs GPA. Some of my background: MGH ED Pediatrics and APS volunteer, 3 years of psychology research, few years experience working as a Vet tech, and I was very involved on campus as an undergrad (lots of leadership roles). Also, mediocre GRE scores. They definitely take everything into consideration when you apply. I know people in the program with 2.5 gpas and barely any experience. Everyone has very diverse backgrounds so it's hard to try to compare yourself to those who were accepted.

The deadline was today. They give you exactly one week and they e-mailed me. Good luck and don't give up hope!

During my interview last week I asked about finances and I was told that the prices are increasing next semester. It will also go by credit. Somewhere around 1200-1300 per credit, but the cost hasn't been finalized yet. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

I just spoke to them on the phone and they said to check your navigator 2-3 weeks after they considered your app to be complete.

Sorry to hear that. Did they call you or send you a letter?

I'm actually doing the same exact thing and applied to all the same schools as you. I spoke to NPs at my mom's job which is a family medicine clinic and they told me getting an RN first is a waste of time and money. They are all for the direct entry programs. They also said that getting into the MSN program once you're an RN is harder than getting into the direct entry program. Idk how true all of this is, but I have a friend who was an RN and is now at Regis doing the MSN program to become an NP. I'm going to reach out to her this week and hear her opinion on the whole situation. I'll update you on that later. I really just applied to SSU just as a "back up" in case I don't get into any direct entry programs this year.

Thanks! Since we all got waitlisted just wondering what everyone's background is? I graduated from UMass Amherst with a 3.2 GPA in 2014 with a BS in Animal Science and minor in Wildlife Conservation. Currently my pre-req GPA is a 3.7 and I'm finishing up 2 classes at BHCC now. I have a lot of clinical background, but with animals :/. I currently volunteer at MGH in the Emergency Room, mostly in APS. I also used to work in a counseling center, as an RA ,and I travel a lot to volunteer. I've gone to Thailand for wildlife courses and to volunteer in the mountains and last year I lived in South Africa to research a troop of baboons for a study thru Duke University. Additionally, I did 2 years of cognitive research thru the psych department at UMass. Currently I'm a vet tech!

I applied for the psych track for the Feb 1st deadline too. I got an e-mail at around 4PM yesterday for an interview next week. So hopefully you hear soon too! Good luck

I got waitlisted for MGH too and got an email last night from Regis to interview next week. So I'm assuming they still haven't finalized decisions. What tracks did you guys apply to? I applied to psych

mickey_123 yeah I was being dumb, I applied to 5 schools and the 4 other called me if anything was missing so I just assumed SSU would too and I was so caught up with interviews and class that I didn't think anything of it. Lesson learned for sure.

I just found it in my spam. I actually ended up calling SSU on Tuesday and they told me my application is incomplete. My undergrad school never sent my transcript!!!! I had to miss work yesterday to get it all settled but my application is now "late" even though I applied 3 months ago so I doubt I'll get in now. Good luck to everyone else!!!!
