  1. Hi Livvi93, Definitely keep the hope about MGH! But that is nice that Northeastern offered you consideration for the accelerated nursing program. How long is the ABSN? If it is only a year and a half or so you could complete that and apply for MS programs to become an NP after...just a thought!! Maybe a differnt path but still leading towards your goal :)
  2. Thanks so much a_rose! Just in general what was the interview like? Was it a series of questions or more conversational?! Thanks again :)!
  3. Definitely doesn't make you look bad!! I'm sure you are qualified !
  4. My background is a BS in Allied Health Sciences GPA: 3.25 and a master of arts degree in counseling psychology: GPA 3.6. I have been a therapist for 4 years working with individuals and families. I also have experience as a crisis clinician and I currently work for a DMH contracted program.
  5. Hi thanks all! I did also hear yesterday afternoon about an interview for Regis...nervous!
  6. Thank you so much for the helpful and honest feedback! I can definitely appreciate everything you have to say and I feel like you have very balanced view and I imagine this program is very intense. I am definitely super passionate about the work and would see this as a huge opportunity for me; therefore I am just making myself nervous because I feel like I should have heard something if they felt I was qualified for an interview. I am currently working in the psych field and there is such a big need for providers and I really hope to help fill it
  7. Thank you so much!!! I guess I am just wondering how quick they are in terms of making a decision after the interview. How do you like the program so far? How many people are in the class? I have a previous master's degree in counseling psychology so I would be shooting for the psych track. My only other concern is that I may have to take a pre-req over the summer because of the 7 year limit. Hopefully that wouldn't be held against me. Thank you again for your feedback!! Very helpful :)
  8. Thank you so much for the feedback!! I submitted my application and it was complete on 1/26 for the 2/1 deadline. The admissions counselor reached out to clarify about my pre reqs last week and said he would be in touch shortly...they promise to have decisions out by 2/26 so I am just getting nervous about maybe not getting an interview
  9. Hi Livvi93, The waitlist is such a limbo! Did you apply to any other programs? I am wondering when I will hear back from Regis as well
  10. Has anybody heard about interviews for Regis Direct Entry NP program following the February 1st 2016 deadline??
  11. Hi everyone, I just heard back from the MGH direct entry NP program and I got on the waitlist. I am wondering if anyone has had experience on the waitlist for this program before? Did you get an offer? I am also waiting to hear back from the Regis Direct Entry MS nursing program (which awards both a BS is nursing and a MS). I hate this waiting game! Anyone have experience with Regis as well?! Also: any idea when those that did get accepted to MGH direct entry nursing have for their deadline to accept? Thanks !!! :)
