  1. Congrats! Did you view that on Credit Karma?
  2. Wow so much inconsistency! I guess at this point I really shouldn't be too surprised given the variety of replies people have heard...
  3. I called today as well, just to see what response I would get, and the woman I spoke with said that awards are already being dispersed and that I should continue to check my email and the application portal for any notifications or changes in my application status.
  4. I called HRSA and asked a few questions, which included a question about the length of the resume, and I was told there is no maximum length for the resume.
  5. @FutureMs.NP Okay good to know, and I used single spacing too!
  6. My essays are 1 page each, about 570 words per essay and about 3700 characters per essay. I was concerned about the length too because I read that it must be 250 words max but also 5000 characters max. I called HRSA today and asked and the individual I spoke with said to follow the 5000 characters max and that it is okay to go over the 250 word count. Just to be extra sure I'm going to call again tomorrow to make sure that I'm getting a consistent answer!
  7. Way to go! I'm almost through with mine, just proof reading the essays! Did you include your first initial and last name and Application ID number at the top of each document or just the top of the essays? And what spacing did you use?
  8. @CharlieNP2b Hey I'm in the same position! I'm having trouble deciding between MGH and Simmons as well. I'm leading towards MGH though because I like that it also provides the BSN. I've heard great thing about both programs so it's very hard to decide. Are you going to the accepted students day at Simmons? Im sure we'll find out a lot of valuable information there to help make a decision!
  9. I just recieved an email with a decision and I'm in!! The email said an admission packet will be mailed to my home address soon. Anyone else hear back?
  10. Hello everyone! I just declined my acceptance to the Family Nurse Practitioner program (I was accepted to my first choice). So hopefully that frees up a spot for someone on the waitlist! Good luck to everyone! :)
  11. I heard back too and got the same message about Monday
  12. @hummingbirdheartbeat the emails were sent out today? D: Did you get one? I didn't get an email, but hopefully theyre still sending them out and I'll hear something tomorrow!
  13. @AspiringFNP30 I got an email that the accepted students day is Saturday March 5th. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!
  14. I'm also in the Boston area and trying to decide between MGH and UPENN. I'm in the FNP speciality
  15. I just got accepted too!! For fnp!
