I guess you both are going to start your internships before you take the test.

I hope to schedule it as soon as possible, I start my intership June 16th. When did you guys get your letter to test? How did it come, per email or snail mail? Did you take a review course besides the Meds pub review?

We got ATT via email after about 2 weeks of graduation. Some people found it in their bulk mail that they almost deleted without reading it. So don't delete your emails without checking or reading all of them. I took the medspub review and another one because my hospital gave us one for free. Actually we started making money while we were sitting there. :clown:

2weeks!! Gee, I was hoping it would go faster! I wanted to do Suzanne's plan, but she requires 45 days. I don't know if I want to wait that long after I get the ATT.

I also get a review from my job , which they pay, but we will not be paid the three days we are going to the review.

IMO, those NCLEX reviews are a waste of time. I only went to the ECC review (I only showed up 1 day to that anyway) and took NCLEX 4 weeks after I graduated and I passed the first time no problem (not that I was all that confident then). I just used Saunders and did a "system" each week and reviewed 2 days before in my head and I did fine. I know several other people who took that same approach and did really well also. In the end, all that matters is that you've got RN after your name :D If you feel more confident taking all of these NCLEX study routes, then more power to you. All I'm saying is that it doesn't have to be that hard....it's not worth it, in my opinion.

I am finally on my own!!!! It took how long?? Taking an Internship in the ICU was like taking on a 5th semester. We all referred to it as our 5th semester of nursing school. We had tests, study groups and we even had a final!! I'm so glad that's all over with! I think most Internships are grueling no matter which department you head into and I think that's mostly because you're so burned out from nursing school. All of my patients have survived so far. I only had 4 of them code on me during my Internship. I just now took ACLS this past week so I had to participate in these codes not having a clue what I was doing...I kept thinking, "What did they do on ER again?" hahahha. Thankfully I know now and I'm ready for my next code...that sounds horrible doesn't it?

Allison, I wanted to congratulate on your achievement. :yelclap: It's awesome that you're ACLS certified and on your own in the ICU. Do you plan on getting BSN and CRNA, maybe? ;)

yea , it sure feels like it. I keep checking my email and my chunk mail everyday!!!!!!!!!

I have been studying and already feel like I have forgotten so much. I am bookmarking so many questions,it's unreal. How is this happening? :no: The longer this goes on the more panicked I get.

Email, Spam trapper box, BON for my name to appear as a GN.......yep, just like stalking the mailman....lol

It does depend on how fast they turn the paperwork in, but also, May is a busy, busy time for GN authorizations at the BON.
