In a way, it's a good thing y'all have the summer off before 4th semester. Rolling through 3rd, straight to 4th was nerve-racking!!!!

I definitely agree with that. I was so burned out by the end of this semeseter, I think I'd be fried if I had to go right into 4th. I need a little recharge. Do you have a list of topics or anything for 4th so I can read ahead (after a little break...lol)? I think I remember hearing that there wasn't a reading list for 4th...A list of diseases or any chapters you can remember being helpful would be good...We have a link for psych 4th semester, but after the psych test, I'm just not up for that yet...lol.

OK those HESI scores are awesome!!! I am nervous because I only got an 852 on the mid. Only 7 in our class got over 900. Of course none of us studied though cause we were too busy cramming for finals!

So I am stuck doing Case Studies now.

Is this a bad sign for the final HESI (there's just one chance on this one right?)

Hi everyone,

I am so glad we are done, Hesi over, El Centro over, yeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.

I went down in points and percent too, compared to second semester, but I did good. So I am happy.

Pecked to death, yes, you will have only one chance, but it counts as your final (20% of your grade). So as long as you keep your grades up during the semester you should be ok. It is just very stressful overall.

Katie and Allison, I am so glad you are doing great. I commend you for being back in classes. I have thought about it , but right now I don't want to see another book. But wait I still have to study for NCLEX, .

Just for fun...I had to snap a shot of my bengal kittens. They just discovered the dryer.

I don't think it is a bad sign due to the fact that it is over all of the semesters. The way I got ready for the HESI was that we went to the Medpub review, did all of the questions on the HESI CD, and read all of the HESI hints in the book. I did all of this the week before the test and during the weekend of the test. I got a 1008 which correlated to a 95.59%, which was rounded up to a 96!! Also something that is good is like you said, you won't have a final to study for, this is your final! You only have to make a high enough grade to keep you at a 77.5 to pass with a C. I personally had to make a 60, so if you keep your grades up during the semester then you should have no problem with the HESI. Good luck with the rest of your nursing school semesters. It is possible to pass and become a graduate nurse!
