I'm going to be at the NLC campus! See you in June for orientation!
Also, congrats for making it to the next semester to all new 2nd - 4th semester NLC/ECC student nurses & congrats to the graduates! :balloons:
Good luck to everyone!
I've never been to Vegas! I have been to the two nearest casinos in OK, and the Beau Rivage in Mississippi, and of course probably all of the casinos in Louisiana....
DO THE POLITICIANS UNDERSTAND THAT TEXAS' MONEY GOES TO OK AND LA????? Well, that's a whole 'nother topic!!!!!
One of these days, I would like to go to Vegas...just to say I've been. Last time I went to a casino, I was able to buy my treadmill when I got back home. :yeah:
:yeah:
:wtosts: OK....back to what is, prayerfully, my last ADN major careplan!
It was exciting...I think we are both there on April 1 & 2nd (whatever the Monday/Tuesday is, but I know April 1 is the date)...I was supposed to be there last week, but not with my finger....she let me cut the finger out of glove and just be extra careful when hanging IVPB and stuff like that. It's getting better slowly but surely. I'm hoping by then I can have the splint off!

Ok....so we're down 3 tests....the Psych unit is upon us. I am looking for any suggestions on how and what to study. I got the reading list from e-campus...it's only 20 chapters...we have the pdf files. Anyone have notes or other wonderful insight to share? Us 3rd semester folks would be forever grateful :)

I have to read stuff over and over again to learn it....plus I listen to the lectures in my car.
I did go downtown, and really can't say whether it helped, or not. It was interesting. There is 3rd and 4th semester info....I did all of them last semester.
I'll be back in the ER on Tuesday, unless there's too many students, and not enough to do. In that case, I'll leave there, and head back over to my hospital.
Thanks for the info, Fun.
I'm just really frustrated because I feel like I prepared more than I ever have for this cardiac test, and I still didn't do well (read: I didn't pass.). Now, I'm in serious danger of not passing the semester. It's just one of those things where I feel like I cannot do anything right. Gah!
Trying to read through 5 or 6 chapters is hard enough (like for the cardiac test). Since psych covers something like 20, it just seems impossible!
...
Don't mind me. It's just one of those days.

Thanks, Jaxia!
Hey, Jaxia and Yang....either of you assigned to the ER on the 18th? I'll be there with whoever is assigned out of y'all's rotation.
I'm assigned there on the 18th and 19th. We don't have to be there until 3:30 though.
