I'm going to be at the NLC campus! See you in June for orientation!
Also, congrats for making it to the next semester to all new 2nd - 4th semester NLC/ECC student nurses & congrats to the graduates! :balloons:
Good luck to everyone!
13 med questions on the 4th semester psych test! Whoa!...But I passed!
Now on to cardio/respiratory!
Test 2day was not that bad. At first I was worried when I say 13 med questions but then I saw the test and it was ok.
What book do you use to study regular lecture from. Saunders? I am trying to get a big cushion for HESI:wink2:
Katie, Allison, what did you guys do? Did anyone use any other NCLEX review?
I went to the free medspub review that was organized by the school and to another free review that was organized by my hospital and presented by the people who published the memory notebooks.
I also did about 100 questions a day, and reviewed test taking strategies from different books. Kaplan has great tips, you can go to a bookstore and read it there if you don't want to buy another book now.
At this point are you all waiting for graduation and ATT?

Hi,
I am just now seeing this, I for one thought the Psych was different, because for me the wording of her questions were weird in some way. But maybe it's because english is my sec. language, and sometimes I do have trouble with that. I think the case studies in BHO lab, which are in the Paramount computer lab now by the way, were pretty good, but very lengthy. You guys will probably do very good on this test. Don't worry about reading all the details in the book. Both Hesi and Saunders are very good ways to study for this test. Don't forget the Meds.
