Congrats to all of us that were accepted to the nursing program at either campus for Fall '06!!!!

I'm so overwhelmed right now, it's not even funny. I don't know what to do first. I have to decide between two job offers, study for cardio, stupid management, clinicals and work. And than prepare for NCLEX, where I feel I don't remember anything, and have the least amount of time for at the moment. It's driving me crazy.:uhoh3:

im in the same boat almost. Except I have already done management b.c we have to post twice this week. I have accepted a position. Studying for cardio,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:banghead::banghead: need to start. I am also worried about the nclex. So many options to study. Nursing school dont we all just love it. O yeah along with 12 hour clinicals, but just think may 4th:yeah:

I have also accepted a position, management is just time-consuming busy work, clinicals will probably last until April 22 :madface:, I'm more terrified about the cardio test than the NCLEX right now.

Oh...and I think it is absolutely stupid to have graduation before HESI. :uhoh3:

That is where a pinning is suppose to come into play here.....HELLO....why doesn't El Centro care enough about the students to give us a pinning ceremony?

OK....off rant.......back to studying. :deadhorse

What happened to pinning ceremony? Can you organize one by yourselves as students? If not, are you going to go to the long graduation ceremony?

I am nervous about the cardiac test. Lots of info. We have stuff that she says is not going to be on the test but you know how that goes. Ok I agree I think it is dumb that we walk on may 4th take hesi on may 7th. What if we dont pass? I am not endanger of failing but it has happen to too students before. My clinicals are over april 10th. management is time consuming but easy A...............:yeah: El Centro doesnt have a pinning ceremony? WAt thats wrong! I am in the distance porgram with thr/ el centro? We get pinned may 22.

Ok yeah they are wrong for that.

In a nutshell, we don't get one because we have graduation. However, so does THR, and the December grads are welcomed back in May as well.

Just more B.S. showing EL Centro College does not give a rat's A$$ about their students. ...And yes, they know I feel this way! It's not a secret!

That's a shame. i heard the President of the NLC SNA got fired over the whole deal. There are some really unreasonable and close minded people at the ECC program (and that includes all their campuses!) So December grads don't get a graduation? I'd rather have that than a pinning ceremony.

You hear about all that happening, and then they talk to the class trying to recruit new officers...lol. Like anyone wants to get involved in all that mess - because we really need that kind of stress in nursing school!
