Congrats to all of us that were accepted to the nursing program at either campus for Fall '06!!!!

I'm going to be at the NLC campus! See you in June for orientation!
Also, congrats for making it to the next semester to all new 2nd - 4th semester NLC/ECC student nurses & congrats to the graduates! :balloons:
Good luck to everyone!
Our's is supposed to be posted June 12th but my prediction is more like around June 20th as it's always a good 7-8 days late. I say always because it has happened that way every time since 1st semester but then I already knew who I was going to get. I don't really care this semester who I get because I think all of the choices were good.
What about y'all?

They say the same, if I remember correctly. I just need for it to hurry up so I can give it to my husband....work/kiddos, etc.
The wait is getting to me. I'd be surprised if it gets posted on the 12 as well.
Well I am impressed with ECC/NLC! lol
I have St. Paul with Paul...It was my first choice. I sure hope I made the right decision!!!
It works better with my husband's work schedule.
He'll still have to change his schedule up on Wednesdays to get the kiddos to school.
It'll be nice to not have skills labs on Thursdays & Fridays!
4 day weekends! (More like 4-day study weekends!)
I'm sorry Mishelle,
I never thought that there would still be extern positions available this late in the summer.
I have applied for several tech. positions, got one call back when I wasn't home, but never could get a hold of them, and they never called back again,(even though I left several messages), oh well.
Maybe God had other plans for me this summer. My mother in law had a knee replacement and her husband has been in poor health, so I have been helping out while she's in the hospital. And I know this will be a few more weeks like this.
I know...I didn't expect to see extern positions either.
I'm like you, I guess it's not meant to be. I was so excited there for a few minutes......until I called them. lol
Hope things get better with your MIL, etc.
I think my daughter will have her tonsils taken out, but that would have been fine....I'd work around that, and my hubby has 2 weeks of vacation he has to take. He could have been home a week to be home with my daughter.
Oh well....If nothing else, I'm getting very good at filling out applications. :lol2:
Today I was brave enough :uhoh21: to call ECC health offices because I still don't have a fall schedule. I have found out that they are having difficulties with the schedules so I have to wait a week or so. Anyway here comes the part that is interesting for you all. Before I could talk to a person I was "lucky" enough to listen to several voice messages. And I found a bulletin board message system for nursing students. This system is to let students know about schedule changes. There are some changes so if you want to check your schedule call 214.860.2272 then push 8 for bulletin board and 1 for continuing student info.
