She wasn't that bad with our group. I think her grading is a little far fetched, though.

.......Maybe my group drove her nuts, and then y'all got the bummed end of the deal. :lol2:

Do y'all recommend studying just from the HESI NCLEXRN Review book, or from 1st semester powerpoints also?

Most of the people in my group didn't study and they passed it just fine. I don't recommend having a margarita before the test because that's what I did and I missed it by 2 points (898)! I was such a nervous wreck that I needed something to calm my nerves down and there was a Margarita place across the street :uhoh3: .. I studied from the HESI book and I guess it helped me....what did you think Katie?

Hey all......sorry I have not posted in a while (probably all semester) but I am still alive and kicking! Moving on to third semester, if all goes well with the HESI tomorrow. I am very interested in the dirt on the clinicals as well if anyone would like to message me.

Believe it or not I have my whole summer planned.

June 9-11 we are headed to Las Vegas for a weekend get-a-way.

June 20-July 2 we are "Riding the Rocky's" by motorcycle with 1000 other Harley owners.

July 7-15 we are on a cruise to the Caribbean.

July 18-31 we are driving to Canada.

ALL WITHOUT THE KIDS!!!

I am so excited but trying not to blow off the HESI. Does anyone know if there will be a make-up orientation for the Parkland summer week long clinical with Beecham?

Hi Kendra.

Your summer sounds wonderful! I think we are just going to do some outdoorsy stuff...camping, etc. We keep saying we are, but haven't had the chance to do much of anything.

We like to go to Cedar Hill park and fish...that way DH and I don't need to spend money on fishing licenses. :chuckle

We'll definitely have to get out w/o the kiddos sometime as well. I'm glad you are getting the chance.

Congrats on making it to 3rd semester, and good luck on HESI!

I think I am putting St. Paul first because that works better with my husband's schedule. I can take the girls to school, he can pick them up.

Plus, waking up at 0330 to leave by 0430 is giving me grey hair. :lol2:

HESI IS OVER! Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made 1020!:balloons: :monkeydance: I'm really still in disbelief...total shock!

OK....now what am I suppose to do? Oh yeah! I'll read this "Charting an Incredibly Easy Pocket Guide" book I just got. :lol2:

There were a few that didn't make at least 900. :( I still say, "THANK GOD WE'VE PASSED 2ND SEMESTER!!!"
