Good luck to everyone!
Just had my first day on postpartum, surprisingly I enjoyed it. I had the nicest nurse so far, she really tried to teach me alot and let me see so much with her other patients. Test 3 went well, (I am standing at an A right now, thank's to God). Now Skills test.............
Congrats, Mishelle
Godd luck Mishelle,
I allready finished my Skills test, our instructor had to go out of town, so our whole clinical group is done. I am glad this is out of the way, it wasn't to bad (I did very well), just practice all your steps from your sheets, and don't forget to assess the patient (pain, bladder) and do the valid teaching ,doc. and reporting, oh, and safety/sterility of course. YOu will do fine. Even if you do mess up one skill, you should be ok and get enough points to pass. I have Sims Adol. , 3 careplans, half of a day of community service , and of course all the tests to go. Toooo much in tooooooooo little time........
Thanks...I need all the luck I can get! My skills test is this Friday.
Friday night and Saturday will be spent studying for test 4...providing the above has a good outcome! :uhoh21: I tend to get STAGE FRIGHT/TEST ANXIETY when it comes to check-offs!
I have to pick a patient Sunday afternooon, Pedi clinical Monday, Test 4 Tuesday, SIMS Wednesday, pick a pt the following Sunday, then Pedi again the next day. ....Other than that, the plan is to study for the final exam the rest of the time after test 4, and when not doing PEDI clinical stuff.
Luckily, my community service had to be finished before mid-term evaluation, so that's out of the way.
