NLC - SNA Welcome back/Freshman Mixer on Friday @ Noon. Hope to see you Friday @ Noon (T building)

I may go. It depends on this week's schedule. I still have no info on it. :uhoh3:

So how is the 2nd semester schedule? Do you go to NLC on Wednesday? Do you have an orientation at ECC?

Ok....someone clue me in on second semester....I mean do we have an orientation type meeting again, do we just show up to lecture on Tuesday after MLK, what type of questions are on this bloody pharm test? Tools.........if we have the right tools we can succeed....is that too much to ask for from this school?

Do you find that you use the calculator?

Doh! I was just at Wal-Mart today. I knew there was something I was forgetting to check out. Thanks for the heads up on the watches. I was hoping to find a digital watch with seconds :)

katie, i'll try to figure out why you didn't get the email. :(

jaxia, at the va i didn't need to calculate because they specifically tell you how many pills, etc, and everything is individually packaged.

you can always carry a small pocket calculator in your pocket, or in your storage clipboard if it doesn't come with one.

kendra....i totally understand! as far as dates, i'm showing up bright and early on the 16th for lecture. did you get my email with all of the cards, etc? there's no telling what will actually be tested on, but the cards have been a good source for several semesters so far.

did you get the sna email? it's for all nlc nursing students. :D

OK.... let me try to figure out whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy you didn't. :(

Spill.....will you please email your name (1st/last) to me. I'm trying to look into who all is listed in the SNA site.

Specializes in Psychiatry.

Mi'Shelle, I did get some cards that were titled Nursing 1461 Pharmacology Test Drug Cards, 4 to a page and 37 pages. Are we supposed to know all the information on these cards or just what they are and the nursing precautions?

Specializes in Operating Room.

From what others are saying, anything on the card can be tested on.

Also, as I posted before, from what others are saying they prepare us well.

My strategy is to be studying and praying.....one of the other has to come through for me. :lol2:

(Those cards are also on ecampus, as well as the Pharm packets and reading log. ....Although I haven't seen a direct schedule....as to what units will be covered when.)

All the announcements are crazy! I think I have 500 orientation dates or something! :chuckle

(one at ECC, one at Parkland, one at Scottish Rite for PEDI rotation). whew...

Which clinical did you get?
