YW....yeah...that doesn't even begin to show the total devestation!

There are still piles of bricks, and other mangled messes around. The whole coast line was restaurants, etc and only signs remain.

Very sad.

It does make you count your blessings on what little one may have.

I just called the TWS for my appt to sign my HCACares paperwork for the Spring '07 fees. The lady is out of the office. I spoke with her supervisor and she looked on the lady's desk.....nothing with my name on it.

I emailed my tuition, etc info on 11-24-06.

I called before I left to set up an appt...no, she told me I had to wait until I got back, but I could e-mail her my fees.

NOTHING! ugggggh So, here it is 1-2-07, the tuition is due 1-3-07, and it should take a few days to get the paperwork back to get to go in and sign it. :uhoh3:

I know I'll get put back with the same schedule because I have already emailed back and forth with Kanora, but geeze. I tried to get registered before the final...nope. Now I tried to email to get it paid for the day before/day of the due date....nope.

Oh well....I did all I could to try to keep this from happening. There can be only one miracle worker, right? :lol2:

Wow- I'm sorry you have to deal with that! I would say that as long as you have those emails as proof so you won't lose your spot then everything will work out well It's hard to let go though!!!

I'm sry you have to go through this , this is so frustrating. I had financial aid pending also. When I called them on the 22nd they told me: "Don't worry the office is closed now, but it will be transferred on the 2nd...". I just didn't want to take my chances and I prepaid it anyways with a creditcard, I'll just pay it off once I get my check from financial aid. I hope everything will go through for you.

I wish mine was that simple.

It's a scholarship through HCA hospitals, so I'm not sure how prepaying/getting paid back would work.

I finally got access to the ECC SNA site. I have been waiting for the info for a while now! I just wanted to let you guys know so you could check it. I am trying to spruce it up and add important documents. Check it often because it will now be updated!!!!!
