Congrats to all of us that were accepted to the nursing program at either campus for Fall '06!!!!
:balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons:
I'm going to be at the NLC campus! See you in June for orientation!
Also, congrats for making it to the next semester to all new 2nd - 4th semester NLC/ECC student nurses & congrats to the graduates! :balloons:
Good luck to everyone!
I did wear the uniform pants only because I didn't get out to get myself another kind yet. (Only 6 - 12 hour shifts....I handled it.) lol
2nd semester....if the instructor is ok with it, I plan on getting at least a straight leg, if not a flare.
At least they aren't asking us to wear the pants that are cuffed around the ankles. LOL!
Isn't it funny how we all talk on 3 different threads?
YES! It keeps me busy on allnurses trying to keep up with all the various conversations...I don't want to miss anything!
Everyone congrats on making it through another semester! I hope everyone really enjoys thier christmas vacation!:Santa2:
Hmm, thanks for the info. I guess I should buy at least one pair, just in case? Did you buy a pair through the school, Kathy?
I think it's cool that we have the different threads. At any given moment, they are usually covering different things. It's nice :) Kathy said it much better than I could
LOL, I know how you feel, Spill! I have my 'subscriptions' page bookmarked so I can always see if there is something new :)
I usually only go to the UserCP (bookmarked). If there are any new ones, then I read them.
I hardly ever go to new threads in the various forums anymore. ...Not enough time. LOL
You could wait to get the pants if you want. They are Landau & are available in area stores/online, etc.
It's not like you couldn't ask your clinical instructor and "then" go get a pair.
Jaxia,
I bought one pair, but only so I'd have at least the one - I know I can get them much cheaper elsewhere - I've been buying scrubs for years, and their prices aren't great by any stretch. I'm having a hard time keeping up with the 3 threads this morning. I can't get replied to one before 2 more pop up...LOL. And I've got to go take a shower! Calgon, take me away!

Thanks! Now I'm just waiting to find out how I did on my statistics final. I think I'll wind up with a B overall, but I'm okay with that.
Ahh, pockets! Pockets are good :) I don't know what the uniforms look like, but I suppose I will get to see them on Tuesday when I have my orientation. What do ya'll think of the pants they offer? Do they have choices? I really do NOT like tapered leg pants. Thoughts?
