I am in the same situation. I cannot get an A but I can pass with a B if I get 78. Crazy. :smackingf

Mysterious: I had the same problem during check offs. I would end up talking loud and continuously: "I am going to WASH my hands" 5 sec. later "I am WASHING my hands" 5 sec later "I have just WASHED my hands" so the instructor couldn't take away points for not washing my hands. :roll

I can't believe they haven't scheduled an orientation yet. Are you sure you're going to get one? Maybe they are still filling seats?

I don't know, really. She said she was trying to schedule an orientation that would take around 4 hours or so. I left her a VM earlier, but still haven't heard anything.

Maybe it's just a crazy time with finals, so most people couldn't do it this week? I just don't know. But I'm going to go crazy if I don't have some confirmation soon!

Oh! I just had an idea -- I wonder if I logged into my school account, if I could tell anything? Hmm.

Another question for current 1st or 2nd semester students. What kind of stethoscope do you have? What do you recommend? I know Fun has the Littmann Cardiology III but I'd like to know what the rest of you have. I am not sure what to buy and need some imput. Thanks!

Amy-- I have the Littman Cardio II. It's not as good as Fun's (a friend of mine has that same one and it is better, in my opinion). I joined NSNA and got a $10 off coupon at Allheart.com and got it for a great rate! I enjoy mine and think it was a good purchase. I used it a lot both 1st and 2nd semester. I originally bought one from the bookstore and it hurt my ears so badly! I thought my ears were about to bleed! Oh it was awful!! The Littman has nice ear pieces which is what I like and they have nice colors to choose from! I hope you find one that you like! You can always go to Majors or Doughterys and play around with their stethescopes to get a feel for what you like personally.

And yes I recommend a BP cuff! It was great to be able to practice on friends and family. I hadn't had previous experience with that so it was nice to have my own equipment.

Start asking for these things for Christmas!

Do you have shoes picked out? I originally bought the Danskos but I got a size too small so I wound up buying some black Reeboks and they have been good for me.

Thanks so much for your input on the stethoscope and all. Majors or Doughterys --- where are these places? I have heard Fun talk about Majors but I have never been to either place.
