This article is a few years old, but I stumbled across it just the other day. An Oregon nursing student wasn't prepared for her test so she called in a threat to the school. TWICE.

If you're smart enough to get into a nursing program, how is it possible to be this idiotic?

This happened a couple times in high school. Someone pulls the fire alarm to get out of the test.

Oh, yes indeedy!
Let me use my own phone to call in this here bomb threat.
Anyhoo, I look for any postings from her on AN:
"It's so unfair!
I think my school is being mean not letting me come back!
It was just a bomb threat!
It's my dreeeeeeeeeeeeam!"
Then someone else will say,
"Don't worry!
Hold your head up!
You got this!"

To add: posters will also say: "Don't let the negative posters deter you!!!" And. "weren't you nursing students??" Yeah, but we either didn't do well and studied harder or failed and dusted ourselves back up and became nurses-BIG difference.
But I digress, since it's been about 2 years, I wonder what the outcome was?
I didn't even notice the date on the article!
I was so blown away by how stupid this lady was for using her own phone. Sheesh, at least steal someone else's or something! Duh!

60 day sentence and probation.
Became an LPN
Then according to Oregon.gov... The Board accepted the voluntary surrender of Danielle M. S.....'s practical nurse license (---------LPN) due to convictions for Disorderly Conduct, Initiating a False Report, and Menacing, and failing to cooperate with an investigation. She resides in Keizer, Ore. April 2013
Her full name is in the original article if anyone feels the need to know.

Why am I not surprised?
Good thing she isn't in the field any more. Yikes!

She needs to get a burner phone (TracFone) like they did on the show Burn Notice. ;-)
I just can't believe that she did it TWICE!! "Well I got away with it that first time so let's try it again a couple weeks later!" Thank goodness she was caught. I shudder to think about the consequences of someone like this entering the nursing field...
