This website provides free Epipens for schools.
Does it have to go through the school? My husband volunteers with at-risk kids and many of their parents have adversarial (at best) relationships with their children's schools and would shy away from getting them.
Also, is the plan only for smaller children? I'm betting some of my husband's college kids could benefit too.
The offer is from the manufacturer, it is not tied to school or insurance carrier or anything. The fine print is that they will cover up to $100 per co-pay, so if you are paying totally out of pocket, you will still have to pay a portion. In any case, I thought it was worth passing on. (I know you shouldn't say "passing on" to a bunch of nurses--go ahead and snicker)
