NMC Test Online

Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Yeah man, I did. But the person on the other line doesn't sound that much sure of what I should do. :/ He keeps on saying: "I think" Our conversation even started by him saying: "Congratulations your assessment papers are all in" Ugh. Then when I told him my query he told me: "I think you just need to send a letter if indeed your referee is a senior nurse." Then he told me to wait in line for a while and he said again: "Yes I think that's what you should do." He doesn't sound very reassuring. That's why I have my doubts. :( sorry if you have read my other reply out of context, I didn't mean to diss you or anything. :) I'm just getting frustrated cause I am asking help from the NMC hotline and they themselves look as if they are not sure of what to do. Thanks a lot man. :)

I think you should email NMC as well if you still haven't regarding this inquiry. The good thing about emailing them is that somebody higher up will reply and not just customer service, like when I mailed their Transitions team to transfer my papers. Just don't expect them to respond within a week. Meanwhile, try to secure that declaration letter so you're good to go while waiting.

hi everyone! just a quick question. what do we put in County/State? I am from Cebu City, Philippines. My friends said they left it blank in the reference letters. but i see that there's an asterisk beside County/State in the NMC registration website. does the asterisk signify that the blank has to be filled out? TIA! :)

The Philippines is divided into provinces, not states or counties, so just put down the province you belong.

Hi everyone. Will NMC accept 2 charge nurses as my references? I'm having problems at the moment with regards to my letter of confirmation from my senior nurse and I may have to ask another referee to fill up a new employer reference form. *sigh*

Yeah, I don't see why they won't accept 2 charge nurses as your references. However, submitting a new reference form will probably set you back since who knows how long before they'll finally "receive" it. Not to mention they have to assess it again. The letter would be quicker since they already have a copy of the first reference form.

May I ask what's wrong with your confirmation letter? You could just write it yourself (from your senior's perspective, of course) and then just have her review it and sign, which would probably be quicker than waiting for her to write it herself.

Regarding HCA in the UK. A qualified nurse isn't listed on the short skills list in the UK Silverdragon102 the profession was removed from the short skills list a few years ago. A HCA is regarded as a skilled job in the UK.

You are entitled to apply for a vacancy as a HCA if the vacancy advertised welcomes applicants from outside the EEC, they are 3 main requirements for a tier 2 sponsorship: 1: that the salary offered is above 20.800 UK pounds a year; 2: the applicant has savings of 945 pounds in their bank account for a period of at least 90 days unless you are sponsored by a A rated sponsor and won't be claiming any benefits during your stay; 3: a requirement proving your level of English in writing, reading, listening and speaking is at B1 level or above, (i.e.l.t.s academic UKVI 6.0 score is sufficient). Refer to UK Goverment tier 2 sponsorships for more information. Tier 5 sponsorship is obsolete in the UK now.

I hope the information helps you Maxolon 2477.https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/overview

Well, I've learned that the headed letter requires a dry seal from my hospital to authenticate it. However the HR dept refuses to authenticate it as they see no point in authenticating that a nurse is indeed "more senior than me" Sounds confusing? Yeah it does. :/ I tried reasoning out to them but they won't budge. They told me that they would just authenticate another employer reference form and not anything else.

That's why I arrived to that decision. It sucks really.

Please read my post on page 86 in this thread malon2477. This may also help you. Tier 2 Work Permit Requirements - UK Visa Bureau.

You were originally from the old scheme? If so, they're referring to transferring your previously submitted documents from the stage 2 pack to the new scheme.

how long will the result of the CBT be released? thanks
