Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
The multiple choice questions from the Royal Marsden Hospital Manual of Nursing Procedures student edition actually get repeated on the test ad verbatim as claimed by many of us here who have taken the test. Also, they seem to get questions from SCIE's Adult Safeguarding e-learning module.As for how to tackle that blueprint (and general tips on passing the exam), I suggest reading this:
thanks @Kurokocchi! my other account seem to be not working. hope I can do this. -reikanji;)
Hello everyone. I am currently in the assessment stage of the new process. I have submitted all the documents except for the training area reference form because I thought it was unnecessary since I have completed training in all clinical areas. However my recruitment agent just spoke to NMC and they said they are still waiting for one more document to be sent to them which is the training area reference form.
Anybody here from the Philippines who's experiencing the same problem?

Not that I know of. I really don't know what to make of that form in the first place since it's under professional education and training, not work experience. Does that mean it has to be filled out by somebody who's supervised us when we were students? Anyway, I digress. If you properly graduated as a BSN, you should not have any more "missing training in clinical areas" as the form requires. I suggest contacting NMC regarding this.
@PinoyRN12 and @shomie911 -
i'm in the same boat as you two! the unlucky boat that submitted our documents in the beginning of march but got forgotten or lost at sea for 3 months... still waiting to hear any updates (14 weeks and counting). keep in touch if you hear anything. hopefully it's soon.

Yes. I couldnt agree more.
Hi! My employer doesn't have a stamp or "wet seal" but what they have is this dry seal. Is it acceptable? My employer insists that this dry seal is their official "stamp". I am actually anxious if there will be any problem in the scanning stage. Thanks in advance!
Hi..Johnnnius, dry seal is enough, actually, my agency told that the "stamp" that NMC is looking for is the dry seal. but for those employers who doesn't have the dry seal, the stamp is accepted like in my case, im working overseas and they are not using dry seal here,

Okay got it! Thank you for the response! For the declaration of good health, my company physician doesn't have her own stamp available. However, she used the dry seal of the employer (since we are on the same hospital). Will that be okay?

Is it maybe because you missed some required "training hours"? I asked NMC about the clinical training hours required and they said it should be a minimum of 500 hours. I myself think that form is unnecessary if you met the required number of clinical training hours. Hmmm

Hello guys! I just want to clarify something. My Company Physician doesn't have any stamp available and I understand that she needs to confirm on her official letter headed paper that no stamp exists. Can she use her prescription pad as her "official letter headed paper" then?
Thanks to whoever who'll reply!
