Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Hi Guys,
For those who are on assessment stage, could you please let me know what are the documents required in Form 1 and Form 2. It's just I am here in the Uk and have to go back to to my own country to sort out all the documents that they required on those forms. I have checked on some previous posts but the details are quite minimal. Thanks for whoever will reply. :)

Which forms are you referring to? The reference forms?
The thing is, back in the old scheme, you need references from 2 persons: one nurse who has supervised you for at least 12 months and the other for only at least 6 months. They both CAN be from the same hospital seeing as many of us here (including me) have only worked for one institution only. If you can get someone from your previous hospital to fill out the form then great, but I don't think it's necessary. If you are gonna include them in the online submission form anyway, make sure you notify them in case NMC decides to make a little phone call.Hi everyone! I have worked in 2 hospitals. One for 6 months, and 2 years for the most recent hospital. Do I need to get an employment reference from the first hospital? I worked there almost 5 years ago and only for 6 months. Or should I get both employment references from the recent hospital where I worked for 2 years? In the Employer Details in the Full Application & Assessment tab in the online registration website, it says Most Recent Employer and Next Employer. But I've also read in the NMC website that the experience has to be at least 12 months. TIA!
Hi guys! Took the cbt today at misnet and luckily passed! Thanks for all the tips I got here, they really helped a lot. Anyways, here are some topics that came out in my set:
-nursing roles (educator, researcher,advocate)
-wound care
-OB topics (pregnancy complications: preeclampsia, ectopic)
-pedia/neonatal (communication, meconium aspiration)
-enteral feeding/NGT principles
-decision making/delegation
-medication management/administration routes
-inoculation injuries
-opoiods
-drug calculation (VERY BASIC)
-a lot of MCQ questions from RM (as in word per word, luckily that's the last thing I studied)
That's the bulk of what I remember. Goodluck to all who will be taking the CBT! XD
Hi guys! For the Reference Letters, does my supervisor need to stamp her trodot before signing? Or will the signature suffice? Thanks! Sorry this entire thing is making me paranoid at times. Any delay might just mean that my IELTS will no longer be valid, and the UKVI IELTS is quite expensive.

It's not necessary. You DO need your hospital/institution seal, however.
I really hope you can make it until the visa application then (which is the most critical time for past IELTS takers). I've inquired about UKVI with my previous review center and found out it's still pretty much the same test but costs almost twice as much now because of some trivial additions. Luckily, mine will still be valid till next year.

If the institution doesn't have a seal then a letter explaining that a stamp/seal doesn't exist right?
Hey I am in exactly the same boat as you! I am booked in to take the CBT in August, not leaving until July 2016 though. I am currently going through CCM recruitment. I am using the Royal Marsden and the blueprint at this stage. Let me know if you have any tips/questions. I'm in Melbourne.
hi guys! i had my reference letters filled out and signed today. my chief nurse accidentally placed her middle initial beside her first name. is that ok or do i need to let her fill out a new form? also, for the 2nd reference, it was filles out by my charge nurse. he placed charge nurse in the job title/position. is this okay or should it be senior nurse? tia! :)
