Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Hi nurses. So I have just submitted all my docs to the NMC via DHL today but here's my concern..I have accomplished my details on the NMC portal prior to sending my docs and I put a wrong date on the date commenced of my post secondary qualification. It is only a 1 day difference from my real date commenced but I'm now worried. Do you know if it will affect my application?
Hi, everyone. How are you? I hope you could help me with my concern. I mailed my documents to NMC last Friday and as per tracking number, they received it on Tuesday (Aug.1,2017). I checked the NMC portal, but it does not have any indication that they already received it or that I'm already on queue. How do I know if they received it or Im already on queue? Thank you.

In my experience, I sent my documents last March 15th. Then on March 23rd it was displayed on the NMC portal that they have received the files. I received my DL on the 16th of May.
Hi Cottntale32!!!
Thank you so much for answering my question. :) It is the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation office that does license verification for Illinois registered nurses and if it will only take around 3-5 days for them to process the verification form then there will be no problem at all. BUT.... I got married last year & I have to file for a change of name to their office first prior to the license verification. I hope it will not take weeks for them to update my name.
I took the NCLEX-RN exam in May 2012 and got my license July 2012.
Yeah, its going to take a little longer since you will have to change your name first. However, it will be done before you know it. In the mean time you can gather the other requirements. Good luck and keep in touch! I'm waiting for my DL, hoping it comes soon!

Hi bryansalan
I too had this problem! However, where I was concerned, I wasn't looking in the right page in the portal...When you log onto the portal, use the drop down menu that is titled My NMC. Go to My Applications. There you will see if the NMC has received your documents (date, time) and if they have left you any feedback.
Although, when I received feedback, a counselor also emailed me as well...
If you do not see the information that you are looking for, I would then call the NMC. Good luck!
Hello everyone. I posted here before about failing my first attempt with the CBT (14 March 2017) and I would like to thank the people who gave me some advise on how to study more efficiently and offered prayers for me during that time. You all know who you are, and I know a couple of you guys are already in the UK, probably done with the OSCE as well. Okay, back to topic. Luckily, and by GOD's grace, I successfully passed on the second sitting 4 May 2017. From that point on, I paid the NMC Application fee, processed my papers, submitted all of them via courier, and clicked submit on my NMC Portal. I have entered the queue 23 June 2017. It's 6 August 2017 as of writing, more than 40 calendar days after NMC received all my forms/docs and still am waiting for their response. Who among you guys entered the queue 23rd of June? Any luck yet with your DLs?

Wattup @bryansalan. Here's how you can check the status of your papers.
Go to your NMC Portal. Hover your pointer on "MY NMC"- there is a drop down menu there, and click "My Applications." Once redirected, you will see a page that basically summarizes your journey towards receiving the NMC PIN. There is a table there and just beside "Full Application & Assessment," is the word "Submitted." Click on the pink button on the right side that says "Open" and you will be redirected once more. On top of the page, just below the NMC buttons and just above your "Read-only Application," you will see whether your forms were *received* or if there are any forms for *resubmission*. In some cases, there will be a feedback there if you have to provide any other supporting ID or documents.
Hope this helps.

Hello @random nurse. You can give NMC a call, or send them an e-mail, so you can inform them about the mistake. It's either they will re-open the portal for you to correct your mistake or they might just put a note beside the error, which only they can see. They will ask for your Full name, date of birth, and candidate ID to pull-up your application from their system so be ready with it.
Anyone here who already passed the OSCE exam? Can you share your experience & review materiasl that you used. Thanks in advance.
I would love to follow-up on this post and read some of your experiences with the OSCE. Does anyone have knowledge or advise on where to best sit the OSCE? Northampton, Oxford Brookes, or Ulster? Will it actually matter?
