Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hello guys,

Has anyone of you transferred from one agency to another? I did and now I have a dilemma. When I first filled out the eligibility in NMC they asked for the name of my agency and sponsor so basically i put in the name of my first agency. Then i transferred to another agency after i passed my cbt though i have the same TRUST as the first one. What do you think should i do? Do i need to update NMC? And will this cause any problem with reagrds to my application? Thank you.

The agency doesn't matter in the NMC application per se.

Hello Westmack,

I've read your replies to last year's inquiries regarding the processing of UK Visa in the Middle East, specifically from Saudi Arabia, because I'll also be coming straight from Saudi Arabia going to the UK. I am concerned with the UKVI-IELTS result which is one of the requirements for visa application, will it be enough that I'll just submit my original personal copy or do I really need to inform the issuing agency (in my situation it is the British Council) that I need them to send a copy? And if that's the case, to whom will I address it, will it be to VFS Global or to UK Immigration?

Another question, from one of the listed requirements for UK Visa application is the Certificate of Employment (COE). Because the hospital where I'm currently employed here in Saudi Arabia won't be giving me my COE until it's already my last day of service, which is less than 2 months from now, is it really necessary that I submit a COE from my current employer or will my previous COE from my other employer (from the Philippines) suffice?

Thank you in advance for replying 🤗

Hi!! We have the same case and is still in Saudi Arabia. Do you have your COS already? I am waiting for the release on the 15th of Aug so i could book my visa appointment at vfs jeddah.

About the Coe, it does not matter actually. All what matter is your translated PAC (stamped with the chamber of commerce) that will serve as your supporting documents for vfs visa application.

Since my employer is not too strict about the COE, i was able to get one dated july 2017 and printed "still working up to date".

I believe you need to include (as a supporting document too for vfs visa application) your resident permit (iqama) and have that translated and stamped with chamber of commerce.

God willing i will receive my COS on the 15th of August and will fly to jeddah at the end of the month for the visa appointment. Haj holidays is coming. Take note of the office schedule of vfs saudi arabia.

The agency doesn't matter in the NMC application per se.

Thank you. Does it mean i don't have to do anything about it?

If u allowed your new agency to sign and submit the third party form to NMC, then it means that they are consented to follow up your progress in your online portal.

When i set up my intial nmc account, i wrote my first agency that i had contacted with. I switched another agency too after a month and informed the current one about the matter. I filled up the third party form so they can follow it up with nmc. They are actually calling direct the NMC on behalf of me when i had difficulties dealing with my portal (I experienced an IT glitch with nmc).

Hello nurses,

Is there anyone here from CUH? I just want to know if addenbrooke's hospital requires its candidates to have a DL first before it provides a COS? Thank you.

I don't remember signing such form. However, I informed my current agency about it and I also informed my previous one that I will no longer continue with them. My new agency advised me to inform nmc about it just to avoid any repercussions in the future. May I just ask, since you switched agency, have you encountered any problem regarding this?

There is such form. The agency should know that.

NMC phone numbers and email addresses.

At the bottom end, you can download the form.

I see. They did not provide us with that form. Maybe it's their option whether they want to contact NMC directly or just be provided with 2nd hand info from us. Anyway, thank you so much for the help. I'll just update the name of my agency with them thru email and phone call.

Hello, I am candidate for CUH. Yes, they require the dl before applyng for COS. Though I am not sure if it applies to all their candidates. CPL healthcare is the partner agency of Chesham Recruitment who I am currently in contact with and with CUH as their client.
