Yes my employer received it yesterday and assigned it to me this morning.

He said they asked for more information (the NMC decision letter).

Hello everyone, I just want to ask those who have their visas with them already, exactly how many days have you waited for your visas to be approved from the day you received your COS? Thanks for the answers! I'll appreciate them.

I received my CoS on 19 June. Applied for the visa on 4th of July and released on the 6th.

TO THOSE ALREADY IN THE UK: Can you guys share your visa appointment stories? What are the chances of getting denied? ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½

It was a stressful day. I had no idea what docs to submit so I had to rely on gov.uk list. Surprisingly, I had to submit very few documents. I forwarded them two police clearance (NBI and Abu Dhabi), CoS, IELTS TFR, and just for supporting document, the NMC decision letter.

My application got a decision two days after I submitted it and got my passport with the visa on the third working day

Yup. It said it could take 5 days or less although some have complained that it took them weeks even after paying for priority visa

Hello. I recently passed the CBT exam. I am now on the process to pay my NMC fee to start passing my documents. Unfortunately, I cannot access my NMC account after not putting the correct pssword for three times. I attempted to change the password, was able to do so but when logging in, it says that my account is unauthorized.

Tried to authorize my account but then it said that my account is already authorized. So these are m questions?

1. Is calling NMC the only way to recover my account?

2. I have an agency that is helping me to go to UK (IPAMS/HCL). Can they speak on my behalf to NMC to recover my account?

Actually the only way to fix this is to call them. You can call by yourself, or if you have an agency and you authorize them to act on your behalf, they can call for you.

Hi anyone here who are still waiting for their Certificate of Sponsorship? As per update from my UK employer, they filed my COS last June but until now I am still waiting for the COS.

Hi Madi

The CoS application follows this timeline:

- the employer applies for it until the 5th day of the month

- the panel meeting takes place usually in the 11th day

- the Home office sends it to the employer usually within 5 business days after the panel meeting. However, it can take longer. My employer received the CoS on the 20th day of the month. He said the Home office asked for the decision letter.

The employer has to check the system to verify if your CoS has been granted. If not, they can check what happened and apply again.

Thank you for that information. I hope I will be able to receive my COS soon! After the decision letter, I thought the next thing to worry about will be the visa process and the OSCE. This has really been a waiting game for all. Thank you Dandelion!
