Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Nmc portal is experiencing a massive IT issue after they have updated their system. So for now, we just have to wait til they are able to fix it. *sigh*

So can I rely on my pearson vue account to tell me the result? It did say on the status "pass", but I'm not sure if that meant i passed the exam or it just mean some other thing?

Yes, also some of those who took their CBT exams have been experiencing delays in receiving their results via email lately. So it might take a while before you receive yours.

I have received my DL just this morning! Exactly 36 days of waiting, been put on the assessment queue last aug. 24. God bless and good luck to all of us :)

congratulations! I have received mine after 67 calendar days of waiting. It is really a long wait but at long last, it came! haha

Let me just share a bit of my experience in the assessment stage:

There were some delays because of technical glitches.. I was waiting for any feedback (especially my DL) from NMC in August only to find out that I wasn't in the assessment queue at all. All the while I thought I already entered the queue since all of my documents (both barcoded and scanned forms) were uploaded on my portal in July. I received an email from NMC in response to some of my queries before and a part of their reply was to inform me that all of my files went missing because of technical issue so my application was out of the assessement stage. I was really shocked and thought that it was only a joke lol but it wasn't. If I didn't email them before, I wouldn't know my current situation. Anyway, afterwards, NMC retrieved and re-uploaded all of the documents in August. There were still some documents that NMC was requiring me to re-submit but after some discussion/clarification/verification to NMC through phone call (a couple of times), everything went good. I did not resubmit the said required forms anymore. Receiving the Decision Letter is really one of my best birthday gifts! hahaha Thank YOU LORD! :)

Just an update on my CBT exam, just finished it today. When I my checked Pearson Vue, the status of my exam was "Pass", I was half-excited, I know this is not the confirmatory result, but it gave me hope that my exam went kinda well =)(Please tell me that "Pass" meant i passed the test =|). Going to the exam questions, most are NMC codes and situational questions. What surprised me was how many of the questions were from Royal Marsden practice test (around 15 items) and i mean word-for-word and some from NMC Code(around 15), the rest are from various nursing practice/nursing process/clinical skills assessment etc. (if you want specifics, ill have my email below to give you some details). The first 70 questions gave me an easy feel and that's when i started to panic, because the reamianing questions started to feel tricky (or i was just starting to freak out and starts overthinking lol), i managed to finish in a little over 2 hours, but just like what a friend advised me, always REVIEW your answers (this is when i realised that i had 3 answers wrong the first time, i checked the answers after exam =D), btw you can flag questions so you can get back to them when its time to review.A piece of advise, take your time, focus on the options that would best benefit the patient and read on British health trend that we dont practice in other country.

I took the cbt yesterday, but i still haven't received an email from NMC telling me whether I passed or not. Adding to my anxiety is the fact that I can't log in to my NMC portal to check the result. Anyone here who has an idea what to do?

you can already check your result with yout pearson vue account.

Approximately how long does NMC take time to upload all our sent in documents to reflect in the portal?

Hi sofiebear! From what I've read on this thread, it takes 10-15 days.. I am not just quite sure if it is working/calendar days but mine took 8-14 calendar days. :) I hope your documents are already uploaded on your portal :)

Hello, i received feedback from nmc regarding assessment of my creditials. They have stated the following:

"Please provide a breakdown of your theoretical hours as we have only received a break down of you clinical hours."

Wondering if any of you have received a similar feedback and what you did to fix that. What kind of form exactly do i have to request from my school?

hi shulace, weren't you able to submit that before? I'm just curious because if you are connected with any agency, they will surely advise you to have it submitted.

Hi. Ask your university registar staff in charge of the papers/documents in nursing department because that person needs to convert your theoretical hours in order to provide the required break down :)
