Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

I dont have a dl yet. Nope. Im under omanfil. :-)

I think asc waits for a "quota" or i think thw hospital sponsor waits for a "quota"-- number of applicants before processing their COS. I just dont know. Im just assuming. Hehe because in our batch, we're like..just 6. Haha

Hi. I am under Omanfil too. I would like to ask about the nmc portal. Is it okay to send the documents first to NMC and then finish the NMC portal later? Thanks.

Did anyone of you had a problem with regards to uploading files in the nmc portal? I made a mistake in uploading my birth certificate file and now I deleted it and uploaded a new file. The new file name would appear but every time I try to download it still the old file would be the one to download even though I already deleted and replaced it. All my files are in pdf format and under 1 MB limit. I tried emailing NMC but they take too long to respond.

I had the same portal issue. I called nmc and they confirmed that the newly uploaded files can be seen on their end. Additionally, whatever i have uploaded and deleted will still reflect on their end. The agent told me that I don't need further actions as they can already view the new file. You might want to call them as well to get the same confirmation for your documents. Just in case, at least calls are recorded ;)

Hi! The exam questions change but when I took my 2nd CBT there was this exact same question from my first take. I took my first CBT last August and failed, and tried the resit a fee weeks ago and passed. Relax, breathe and review again. Focus on the Code, Royal Marsden and safeguarding policies. Don't forget to pray.

Can i politely ask on what pointera should I review on? I am really worried that I might fail the 2nd exam. Some of the topics for first time takers are provided here in this thread. Please, help. :(

Oh wow that's a bit odd, anyway, it's a huge bonus if I will get the same questions in my 2nd sitting. Good luck with the paper works! :)

Hello, i received feedback from nmc regarding assessment of my creditials. They have stated the following:

"Please provide a breakdown of your theoretical hours as we have only received a break down of you clinical hours."

Wondering if any of you have received a similar feedback and what you did to fix that. What kind of form exactly do i have to request from my school?

Theoretical hours breakdown follows the same format as your clinical hours but the content includes your classroom subjects and the equivalent hours on the side. This can also be requested in the college of nursng office or registrar. pretty much like your TOR subjects with just the hours specified. They need to check if you have more than 1800 hours of nursing classroom training.

Hi just want to share, my friend already got her DL last Sept. 16, she was put on the queue Aug. 1. The other one, just received his DL the other day (Sept. 19) his docs were put on the assessment queue on the 8th of August. Approximately 42-46 days waiting time.

Still waiting for mine though :) been put on the assessment queue last August 24.

Let's just hope for the best guys and keep the faith. All of these will be so worth it soon..let's claim it na. God bless and best of luck to each and everyone of us.
