Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Hi Paul. Sure! Here's my timeline:I took the IELTS last Jan 2015 (hahaha took me over a year to decide whether I should pursue a Nursing career in the UK).
Took CBT in April 25, 2016 - Failed it.
Retake in May 25, 2016 - Pass
Submitted all my documents before June 20 and everything was uploaded on my portal July 05.
So I was put on the queue on July 05..and 37 days after I received my DL.
cool!!! Anyway, 35 calendar days or 35 working days?
Guys, I would like to verify if my info is correct. You need UKVI for immigration purposes right? I was told that you can use UKVI result when applying for NMC registration. Is this true? thank you
yes you can also use it to apply with NMC provided that you satisfy their score requirement. it's like hitting two birds with one stone :)

NMC does accept UKVI IELTS or REGULAR IELTS results (its doesn't matter) as long as you achieved minimum of 7 in all components.
If you haven't taken IELTS yet I would suggest you take the UKVI one and get 7 in all part of the test since after nmc application process it would be needed for Visa processing for UK(although the required OBS for the Visa processing is only minimum of 4) so its like hitting two birds with one stone.

Thank you pinkprincess and sofibear. It's a good thing I didn't schedule for the regular IELTS. Will be taking the UKVI instead. It's more expensive but it worth a shot.
Helloto those who had their DL
Does it show on the portal that the DL was issued? I was thinking maybe i might have deleted the email with my DL because it has been 6 weeks and still i did not receive any feedback from nmc
Yes, it is reflected on your portal when it was issued.
And you can download your DL from your portal as many times as you want lol
The email only says "Your application has been assessed and you can now proceed with the next step. You can download your DL by logging in in your NMC portal." Not the exact words but kinda like that :)
Police clearances last only for 3 months after you upload it. There's too much hassle if you apply for that at the Philippine embassy in London. My cousin paid 200 Euros for the clearance alone. ;-)
This is for the identity check prior to OSCE right? So apart from presenting the clearances we uploaded in our portal during the full assessment, we have to get an updated one?

Thanks!!! I called them already and told me to just send an email. Im just quite worried that their response will be so late, but u have a point when you said that sending via post wont mean that they will upload it faster too.
Thank you. I'll call them again to verify this matter.
