Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hi,

I'm still oretty much anxious about the CBT. I've asked for my agency's advice about booking the CBT and said to me as much as possible the last week of december or 1st week of january. Is that an ample time for me to review all the materilS. I've just started reviewing it yesterday and my aister even got me the marsden manual about 950pages. Which should I prioriyize the blue print or the manual? Any suggestions?

Oh, I am sorry, I was not able to read the previous posts. I am alright because I have my employer already, just waiting for the COS cause I might be deployed soonest. Thanks . :)

Ah okay. Thats good I supposed. but how long you been waiting now? you said, you been waiting for awhile and you said you "might" be deployed soon,, uuhhmmmm there's no certainty about that. but anyway, see you in the UK. Ill post here once im there in hopefully 3 weeks time, my sister in the UK is excited to see me soon.

Hi Willinski, if you will review the manual yourself it will take you ages. the blueprint and the royal maersden book are the best materials. just put them together and you will get their eventually. however if you review at a review centre that provides CBT program it will take you 8 weeks. 2 weeks in each domains. and you will be confident to take the test. Have you passed IELTS UKVI though?

If you can decipher the blueprint then you can just study that along with the NMC code. On their own, the blueprint and the Royal Marsden manual are quite comprehensive in tackling nursing practice in the UK and practical applications of the code, from which the bulk of the critical questions are based on.

The RM manual may be longer, but it's much easier to study than the blueprint.

hi Justjack, my employer is a nursing home. NHS will take you forever because it is run by the government therefore they are very particular and taking their time to process nurses to control the immigration as well. would you be interested if i asked my agency to ring you regarding Cos available they have?

hi bea thanks for that but i also have an employer already and I opt to go to hospital since I also want to move to US in the future.,

I dont have the royal marsden I only use the blueprint and it has almost all of the questions in my exam though going through links by links is quite tiresome (plus the eye strain)

is it possible to send the prc form in a separate envelope, along with other documents such as reference, health declaration, and school forms and send them all at once to minimize courier expenses. thanks

Hi. From what I know, PRC should be sent separately because it's supposed to be an "office to office" communication. But as for the other 4 documents, it can be sent all at once provided that the forms have their respective "dry seal/stamp" and are in a separate envelope. This is what I did with my docu's. Hope this helps. :)

Hello everyone,

NMC is indeed processing documents a lot faster than previously. I had my documents entered in the decision Que on October 8th and today 11th November, I received my Decision Letter. I did not call them once during the time nor did I have to resubmit documents. Just pray and trust God to work things out and he will... All the best to everyone out there awaiting theirs.

Hi all! I've passed my OSCE and I'm over the moon. Finally, it's over[emoji56] Good luck to all of you!

Congratulations!! I just submitted the payment today to register for mine. I can only imagine the relief and joy you must feel!

Congratulations! You are now officially a UK Registered Nurse! Kudos!
