Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Then what is the required score for ukvi ielts then?
For the UK visa, you'll only need 4 in each band. Seeing as you're still in the assessment phase, however, you should probably ask NMC if your expired IELTS will be a problem in furthering your application. They might require you retake, which means you'll need 7 across all bands again.
You're welcome. I know it really is stressful. I've been forced to retake IELTS [for UKVI] as well since all our results are no longer accepted as of November. Thankfully, after the exam, our trust was finally awarded 62 CoS last week, and they said the first cohort will be comprised of those who took the IELTS early. I sat the test again last November 7. It helps that you already know what to expect from the test due to having taken it before.
Congratulations! There is hope after all the fuss of not being granted of CoS. This is great news. What about the OSCE? What were the topics and how is this done? Any ideas what to expect and how they are scored?
Check these links for OSCE details! :) Good luck!
Hi all!
just passed my CBT yesterday! Thanks to all ur tips as I've been reading this thread for 2 months.
Does anyone here became a clinical intructor and used it as their work experience? As I've believe it's valid as nurse educator. Just want to ask who will be the best referee?
Any of my colleague who's a RN too or the RN in the hospital where I used to supervise the students? Pls help
thanks
I took it in Cebu last week.

In the NMC practice requirements PDF, it says your reference must be someone who can verify your post-registration practice. I think this refers to somebody who is your superior in the same field since nurses with whom you've worked with are just affiliated, not actual colleagues, but I'm not sure. Maybe you should try asking NMC to clarify this issue.
