passed CBT, Thank you guys. I have a couple of questions.

1. Can we make corrections/erasures in the downloadable forms? ex. put correction fluid on one of the boxes.

2. My hospital name is long and the box provided in the NMC form is not enough, can I just write the hospital name in the box even if the letterss are not seperated by the boxes? or is there any other alternative for this.

3. in case you are asked to resubmit something, does this mean you are gonna pay for DHL/FEDEX 2,300 pesos all over again?

I just want to avoid resubmitting docs all over again

First off, congrats on passing!

1. Yes. NMC is pretty lenient about this.

2. Yes, you can put in 2 letters in a box if the name doesn't fit, or you can exceed the space given entirely.

3. Yes, courier is a business. Not much you can do about that except make sure you get everything right the first time. Also, you might have to pay for courier service at least twice--first for the files you submit yourself and second for the files your registration authority will be filling out and submitting.

Hi, what are the common mistakes that people make in the assessment stage? What are the steps that we should do to ensure that nmc wont require us to resubmit? What are the things that we need avoid?

1. check and re-check all the data before hitting the submit button

2. make sure you download the correct form for each area needed (eg. when you have 2 registration authorities--- they make look like the same forms but they have different bar codes, so make sure you download the right one

3. if you're a Filipino, make sure your NSO birth certificate is readable otherwise it will cause your assessment to be delayed.

4. make sure your police clearance/police check are not older than 3 months even when it says 1 year before expiration.

if you read the whole thread, you'll get more tips and ideas in doing your assessment stage.. :)

regarding the downloadable form for health declaration. I asked the ROD in our hospital to fill this out for me and used her MD STAMP with her license number on it. We've put in the address of the hospital that we worked for in the first page wherein it asked for her address. Is this okay?

Hello everyone.

I am having a problem on whether to take the IELTS again and get the required score of 7.0, i have entered the result details, took and passed the cbt, but now it already expired. And my assessment is still under process. Any ideas? Thanks.

You'll need to take the IELTS for UKVI anyway, so you might as well. Also, if your NMC application is already ongoing I don't think they'll require it again.
