Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Hello,I've passed my IELTS and I'm planning to take the CBT early January. Can you give me some tips on what to review. My sister sent me a copy of Royal Marsden and I think its diffucult to cover it end to end... I've also read from this forum that the blueprint as well as the NMC & NICE publications are helpful... I'm feeling very anxious.. Can you give me some tips on this one, hopefully comprehensively so that I can make a very good study plan and more focused on qhat might be the possible questions... Thanks Nurses...
Be patient in checking this whole thread (Yes, I mean from page 1 up to the most recent) and you'll see there's a ton of information not only with regard to the exam, but also about the full application and assessment stage.
Good day.
I'm already in my registration. Honestly speaking, I haven't chosen yet my agency.
This is my experience as a volunteer nurse: from January 2012 to February 2013; then April 2015 up to present. Both are in the same hospital. I'd passed the CBT and successfully paid the application fee. Regarding the reference form, may I still used the January 2012 to February 2013 for my 1 year experience and April 2015 up to present for my at least 3 months experience. How about the gap when I am not employed? wil NMC won't look to that gap? Will they consider my experience as qualified if this is the case? Thank you.
Hi @LionHeart24, I actually have the same issue. What I did was have the same references from my current job since I'm with them for more than 3 years already. All my previous managers and colleagues from my first hospital job went abroad already. That's why I opted to get my references on my current workplace. Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying it is the right way because I havent gotten my DL yet but if your colleagues from your previous job is within reach, why not tap them to fill out one of your reference forms? In addition, if you have experiences from other countries, there are other instructions you need to accomplish. :) hope that one helps even a little.
maychoi, so can you pls explain for us how you were able to process the verification for saudi council? did you also submit the professional accreditation form (the arabic paper) that was included with the saudi council card or you just submitted the certificate of good standing as well as the (blank) verification form.
Hi all,
Im new here and I found out that many of you have done CBT and must have passed already. I have not done CBT but I have a confirmation letter from NMC dated back in January (even before CBT was introduced). I had an agency helped me out to find CoS and have sponsors in the UK. I am now processing my TIER 2 visa application to the British embassy.
