NMC Test Online

Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hello guys. To those who need SCHS registration verification i just want to share something, i rang nmc this morning and ask them if good standing certificate is enough as someone told me that SCHS is no longer entertaining or processing verification forms from overseas. They even released a circular about it, so to make things clear i decided to ask nmc about this and they told me that they are aware of this information and will accept good standing certificate.

hi ally, so does that mean, no need to ask the scfhs to fill up the registration verification form and instead just send the blank registration form together with the certificate of good standing?

Hello corpuscles, yes thats what other people did And thats what i'm going to do as well once i will receive my certificate of good standing from the saudi council.

hi!

has anyone here taken the OSCE? how was it? i heard that a lot failed.

@jocasanova

its good to know that NMC is assessing papers faster than 70 days. Congrats on your DL!!

May I ask, can the declaration of good health be filled out by an infirmary doctor, who clears me up yearly for fit to work? Im currently working in Philippine Heart Center :) would his trodat stamp be sufficient, or the forms should be sealed by the hospital seal as well. That's the only form I'm lacking, thanks in advance for everyones help. :)

Hi @Mabec91 ! Yes, I think it can be filled out by any doctor so as long as he/she is not your employer. My OB-Gyne is employed in the hospital that I am working. I had no choice because our hospital employee health clinic physician cannot sign the papers as per hospital policy. And yes, she stamped her trodat on the box provided. I did not even had it stamped by the hospital seal. Believe me, this also bewildered me at first but I guess I made the right choice.

I just receive my DL last night, don't have a schedule for the OSCE yet but I've been studying ahead but not that intensive.

Hi @maychoi congrats on receiving your DL. :) would you mind sharing how many weeks/days did you wait to get yours? Thanks a bunch!

Oh boy, this will be a long one,:cat:...I was part of the old scheme and had to transfer to the new scheme last February. So let's just say I officially started the process last March

*took and passed the CBT test last March

*immediately gathered requirements for the Assessment stage,I finished the requirements from PRC, my school and first employer around April

*unfortunately I used to work in Saudi Arabia, and that was the time where it was so confusing if they are actually filling out registration verification, etc...so I was only able to complete everything by June

*By last week of July, got an email from NMC telling me to secure another registration verification from PRC! So i called them up and wasn't even able to explain why I need to send it again ( I just assumed that it has expired since I sent the first few requirements by April), So I did send it immediately and they received it first week of August

*THIS WHOLE TIME, I was expecting everything to be fine and even my agency told me that I might be receiving my DL around last week of September. To my dismay, September ended, and I got an email from my agency telling me that this whole time my NMC online account was still on hold since I needed to press the submit botton if I was asked for additional requirements. I honestly do not know about this, never read it in forums about your account being taken out from the assessment queue even if they have received the lacking documents. Sad to say, I wasted almost 2 months of waiting.

*That was September 30 that I was told to click the submit botton, then I received my DL last nigh November 4.

Whew! I really hope you will not experience what happened to my application. I have read some people here having problems with Saudi Council, I will be reading and will try to give answers too.

Oh my!!! That was a big disaster. You will be blessed in OSCE for having a very long patience. I waited mine for 2 months and it made me insane. Waiting game is not my cuppa. Congrats anyway for receiving your DL.

Yes, it was really testing my patience and even until now, I still have to prepare a lot of things for my visa and OSCE. But hey, nothing comes easy in life. :)

Ow @maychoi that was indeed a stormy application. A heck to fonder actually, but well now that you have your DL, your on your way to UK :). Which agency are you with? Thanks for sharing your experience, it can motivate others who are experiencing the Nervous feels about this process, I'm actually one of those people. :p

I'm with Greenfields, but 99% of the time it is the Search Agency who is communicating with me. My DL came around just a month from the last incident, compared to what they said about waiting 40-70 working days. So just hang in there, yours will come soon, ^_^

Hi everyone, i just want to ask regarding the requirements needed to be sent in nmc office particularly the employer form. It states that a minimum of two references are required to be submitted. But how about for those who had a past employment. My case for example, I graduated last 2008. I worked in a hospital from 2008 up to 2011. Then in my present work from 2012 up to now. Do i still need to include references from my employer many years ago or is it all right that both of them are from my present workplace?
