    NMC Test Online

Hi Andrei, I've experienced that re-submission thing. At first, I don't have my agency so I sent my declaration of health to the NMC. Few weeks later, I found my agency and they asked me to have my medical check-up to their affiliated diagnostic center. Weeks came and I've been worried that my declaration of health might get expired (3 months old) and still my agency haven't sent yet my reference forms. So I consulted them and left another set of declaration of health with them in case NMC will look for another one. When NMC asked me to send the letter stating that I am an RN while working, I handed that letter to my agency. I was surprised that together with my letter, they also sent a new set of my declaration of health (This time, the forms were completed by their affiliated diagnostic center where I had my medical screening). At the side of the Declaration of Health, there was the re-submission thing. So I think it means they;ve received two copies that's why it appeared.

NMC will usually upload them ( or will mark as "received" @ ur NMC portal) 10 to 15 working days after they have received your documents in their office.

... done clearing my inbox. :) It's true that they will make things fast if the applicant sends them a lot of emails. I think calling them also helps. Thanks for all of your help and info, Andrei. :) And I am pretty sure that your DL will be coming also very soon. For those who are using their title as a volunteer nurse/ volunteer staff nurse in their application, include a letter stating that your practice as a volunteer nurse requires u to work as a Registered Nurse. I think this will make things quick.

I've only sent what they asked from me which ws a letter from my hospital stating that my role as a volunteer nurse required me to be an RN along with a blank reference form number 1. What are the other general correspondence docs that they asked you to send?

    NMC Test Online

I just called NMC and the agent told me that my application is already at the assessment queue and I have nothing to worry about. (I hope it's true). I also told him the thing that can be found at the header of our portal which indicates more info required - feedback and he said that it's just nothing. Anyway I think he just read the feedback and only re-assured me that my docs were already received. I'm planning to call them again some other time and send a lot of e-mails so that they will make things fast (I wish hehe)

The "more information required-feedback" heading has been there in my portal from the time they required me to submit my letter until now. I think I should make a call as soon as possible. How much did you spend by calling them? [h=2][/h]

Hi Andrei, The letter along with the blank reference form that I sent last january 22 has been received by the NMC last Feb 9 as indicated in my NMC portal. Until now, they haven't give me any feedback. I emailed them last Saturday regarding my status though I expect that they will reply probably after 10 working days. Hopefully, they won't ask for additional documents. Waiting is quite torturing. By the way, how's your application? Would like to ask also how long did it take before NMC has given you the second feedback? Thanks

Hi Andrei In my case, they asked me to send a blank reference form no. 1. May i ask if they only uploaded your reference form no. 2 when they rceived your letter? Up to now, they arent uploading yet my reference no. 1. I assume that they will only upload it once they received my letter along with my blank ref. form no. 1. Thanks.

Thank you orlando. What I did last week was to ask for a certification from my employer confirming that during my employment as a volunteer staff nurse, I was practicing and working as a registered nurse. I also quoted that it was a priority requirement of the hospital to accept or hire registered nurses... I requested my agency to send that certification together with my blank reference number 1 form in NMC, London.

    NMC Test Online

Hi sliverdragon, the work experience that i submitted to nmc is my volunteer staff nurse experience from jan 2 2012 to feb 28 2013. The forms were received by nmc last jan 13 2015. I received my feedback asking me to send a letter signed by my enployer asking me to prove that i was required to be a registered nurse to play the role of a volunteer nurse. According to ir post, NMC stated in their website : If the applicant has been qualified for longer than this, they must have also practisedfor at least 450 hours in the previous three years. Can you please xplain this statement from the NMC? aside from the jan 2 2012 to feb 28 2013 experience, i have another volunteer staff nurse experience from april1 2015 up to present. Those were my only nursing experience. Do you think, they will require me to prove that i had 450 hrs of practice in the past 3 years since the work experience that i submitted is from jan 2012 to feb 28 2013? Thank u

As stated here: http://www.nmc.org.uk/globalassets/sitedocuments/registration/registering-as-a-nurse-or-midwife-from-outside-eu-or-eea.pdf, volunteer experience is accepted provided that the practice is registered. This could be the reason why NMC wants to verify if we are RNs if we work as volunteers. For those who will submit their work experience wherein your job title is volunteer staff nurse, it would be better to attach a letter indicating that you are a registered nurse when you practice. Let's hope for the best :)

The job title that I submitted in my nmc application work experience is 'volunteer staff nurse'. I just received my feedback and nmc is asking me to get a letter from my emoloyer indicating that the employer requires me to be registered to practice the role of a volunteer. Any similar experience?

    NMC Test Online

Hi Kurokocchi, I worked as a volunteer staff nurse from January 2, 2012 up to February 28, 2013 and returned to the same hospital setting from April 1, 2015 up to present. My agency told me to get my two references from my January 2, 2012 up to February 28, 2013 experience because NMC won't accept my current experience (April 1, 2015 up to present) if I place it in my reference form because it's just 8 months. Regarding "the past 3 years experience" that you mentioned, will my January 2, 2012 up to February 28, 2013 experience be accepted by NMC? I'm about to send my reference forms to NMC next week. Thank you.

    NMC Test Online

Good day. I'm already in my registration. Honestly speaking, I haven't chosen yet my agency. This is my experience as a volunteer nurse: from January 2012 to February 2013; then April 2015 up to present. Both are in the same hospital. I'd passed the CBT and successfully paid the application fee. Regarding the reference form, may I still used the January 2012 to February 2013 for my 1 year experience and April 2015 up to present for my at least 3 months experience. How about the gap when I am not employed? wil NMC won't look to that gap? Will they consider my experience as qualified if this is the case? Thank you.
