NMC Test Online

Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

How will you now if you are lined up? will they send an email about that or it will appear on our nmc account?

You will have to email or call them to ask if you are already in the qeue. As to what I know, you are probably lined up once they receive all your documents (which will be reflected to your portal).

You don't have to do it. NMC already verified it on the eligibility assessment.

I am one of those who resubmitted my application due to more files requested. They will tell you to wait for 4-6 weeks however, I managed to sort mine within one week.

What additional documents have you submitted? did you receive an email regarding this? or was it posted on your portal? (sorry for asking too much, hope you don't mind).. :)

Hello everyone! I am very much exhilarated to tell you that I already got my Decision Letter. I was on queue on September 15 and got my DL October 29. That fast, 44 days. I was expecting it by 3rd week of November.

I want to thank you all so much for putting up the effort in answering queries and giving advises especially to starters. You helped me a lot because I did it all by myself. I wasn't even supported by my agency. It felt you knew more than them. =/

One word of advise, be meticulous. haha. I've read back from page 1 even though when I first started you are all on page 110. I did all those things recommended by our fellow nurses and of course I put it all down into paper and made a checklist. Quite a tough preparation. You all knew that. But I know it will pay off. I even wrote letters for my managers how to put exactly the details on the boxes and it worked. You can ship it all at once except with the one with PRC. My MD even put a "stamp/trodat" as her official stamp. I separated all my documents with a paper clip and a post-it with a written note what that file was. On the day that I knew NMC already received my files (Sept. 14), I emailed them if they have already received it because I know it takes a few days before they reply via email, and they did after nine days and they said that my papers was on queue Sept. 15. I didn't ring them or whatsoever because in their reply they said that I should contact them after 70 days when I haven't yet receive any response regarding the DL. Finally, you have to take a dose of patience and a lot of prayers. Everything will fall into place. =)

I hope I'll receive my DL soon too as we're just 7 days apart in relation to the date of receipt of documents by NMC. Congratulations!

Lucky for you that you received yours already. On my part, I was put on queue Sept 10 and until now, the waiting game is still on. Expecting my DL 3rd week of Nov. Congratulations! Another waiting game for you on your CoS.

Hello everyone...I just received an email from NMC today and was excited to open it hoping that it is already my DL...but to my dismay, I was asked to resubmit a form...The reference forms...It mentioned there that they require confirmation from my employer that I am required to be a registered nurse/midwife to work in this role. Is there anybody here with the same case?

I have checked the form that I submitted and everything was filled... I am not sure which part of the reference form need this information to be included by the referee.

I am sorry to hear that but have you tried calling the NMC to verify what exactly do they need? maybe they are referring to the questions :

"In what capacity was the applicant employed? Nurse / Midwife"

"Do you consider the applicant to be professionally competent to practise in a registered capacity?

Yes / No"

I am not sure though, but try calling them.. :(

Hey guys how long did you wait for your documents to be reflected in your nmc account? or should i contact them to ask if they already received my docs?

Thanks for that abby, I have not called them yet as it is already a weekend, and I believe that they do not have office on weekends.

But pertaining to the questions that you have mentioned, I am pretty sure these fields were properly filled out. I am thinking then that "maybe" there should be an entry on the "others" field stating that a Registered Nurse is required for the role that I am working right now. The best thing to clarify things out would be to call NMC.

For the information of everyone here, this is actually the second time that I will be asked to resubmit a certain document... The first time was last August 28, they asked me to resubmit my declaration of good health (one that is accomplished by a physician who did not hire me), was able to send it, then here come the new one!!! Does this mean that they do not assess the whole set document all at once? Now it's just like an installment of re-submission...worst is that once they receive my second re-submission of document and then they will ask again for another document.... I hope not!
