by the way, who will usually pay for the OSCE, the employer or the applicant?

You can ask your agency about that. In my case, the OSCE will be fully funded by my employer. :)

After 3 to 4 hours it will appear in your pearsonvue account with the word 'Pass"

It can take as short as an hour up to 48 hours for the result to appear.

Hi guys does the nmc requires that the documents are sent together with the official envelope of the respective institution? Mine was sent with just ordinary brown envelope except for my school documents. Im worried if they will accept it? Does anyone have the same situation?

Brown envelope will do, as long as each document that requires to be stamped are stamped and are in individual envelope, with address. Remember, it's supposed to be an "office-to-office" communication.

I am on the same boat as you. Took the regular IELTS-Academic last March 2015. Seems I don't have any choice but to take the UKVI-type.

Hello there! I also took the regular IELTS and submitted it to the NMC, but now I have to take the UKVI for the visa processing. When will you be taking your IELTS?

According to my Nurse Manager, we can take the UKVI General Training IELTS (easier one) for the purpose of visa immigration processing only and need to have a score of 4 in all areas..

Do you have your DL already?

My DL is yet to arrive since I was only put on the assessment queue last September 22nd so I am guessing it'd come any time on the 3rd week of November. Based from your response, I see that you already had correspondence with your Nurse Manager. I'm guessing you have your DL on hand, and could it be that you're from IPAMS-CTN as well? (cause this agency usually have their nurse managers communicate with the applicants for future deployment)

With regard to the IELTS retake, I am not sure if UKVI-GT is really easier as I have only taken the Academic module once and to be honest, I'm thinking of taking the UKVI Acad again (if in the very likely circumstance that I go over the November 5 cutoff) since I'm more used to its task 1 than GT's letter writing. I initially planned to take it on November 7 (just to make sure I'm past the cutoff) but I think I'll be taking it on the next one after November 7. How about you?

Nope, I still dont have my DL, I was just on queue last October 8.. So I guess, you'll be getting yours first.. :) Congrats in advance! :)

I'm planning to take the UKVI on December 12 so I have ample time to prepare because even though I only need 4, I want to do better. I am also thinking of just taking the Academic module since it is the test we nurses had been taking and more used to it. :)
