Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hi. Who's your employer? My agency is Alliance too. I'm under the Peterborough and Stamford Hospital..

Glad to know there are 4 of us under the same agency. Im under Barts Hospital. Although I have my decision letter, I have no update yet on the status of the CoS. I understand application is every 11th of the month so I assume I have to wait. The sad thing is I passed the "regular" ielts last year so by the looks of it, I have to sit the UKVI. Not sure of the UKVI target score for visa application,if there is any.

Oh. Good thing. If I'm not mistaken, the required band score for visas and immigration is 4. I have a friend too who's employed by Bart's but he still have to wait for his remarks. Do you have any idea how many of your batch hired by Bart's who's already waiting for their DL? :)

Hey guys and gals- am going to try my test again soon. Anyone failed recently? I was literally one of the first on the boards to try and failed (back when it was a mess) yet I'm scared to try again even though it's supposedly 'fixed' any thoughts?

I typed a long reply only to realize I have less than 15 posts. Tried to add you on Facebook but there was no Add Friend button. Id love to be a part of the group chat. I felt like Ive been alone the whole time. Hehehe. My friend from another agency was asked to resubmit her NBI because it was outside the 3-month period but shortly after resubmission, she also got her DL. I am positive you guys will get yours too.

Yes, if there were bugs before that made the test-takers unable to pass the exam even though they should have, they're fixed now. Although, there are still grammatical errors and mismatched choices to deal with, unless NMC already fixed those as well.

The test is, and always has been, quite easy. I think the passing rate has shot up greatly since February-March, which was probably when NMC fixed and revised the test. You really should have no problems with the technical side of the exam now. If you've prepared sufficiently, then I think you're set to take it again.

We have a group page in Facebook but usually none of them replies. So, I have no idea how many of our batch are in the assessment phase.

Got my DL tonight!

Timeline:

IELTS Acad- Feb 2015

Took CBT- May 2015

Submitted all requirements online- June 26,2015

Resubmitted health declaration form- August 15, 2015

Received DL- October 19, 2015

There is HOPE! We all tried and we will all succeed!

any news/updates for those who have taken already their OSCE?

by the way, who will usually pay for the OSCE, the employer or the applicant?
