Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
@Dodoy
Are you from Cebu? because according to the UKVI schedules for Manila is only during these dates (Nov. 7 and Decmber 12)
IELTS for UKVI Test dates, fees and location | British Council
A little pride plus at least we can still use the IELTS in the future just in case. :)
Yeah talking about delays.. I started with the old process August of last year.. So yeah, tell me about it! haha! :))
PM me your email address.. :)
Unless somebody here will be having their visa appearance within the next two weeks, I think taking the IELTS for UKVI is pretty inevitable for most of us. I already booked mine on Nov. 7th at IDP Cebu. The 15k price tag is painful but getting a minimum band score of 4 on everything shouldn't be a problem for any of us now.

Hello.. nice to have known a fellow ctn/ipams applicant here. Cant send you a pm so ill just give my email its [email protected] all the best :)
Hi @dodoy
I've been reading your posts and all of them are so informative. I would like to ask something about the birth certificate thingy though, cause mine is a bit smudgy(the one from NSO) but I also have the one from local civil registry, should I submit the latter which is clearer? looking forward to your advice regarding this. :) Big thanks!
Hi Mabec91
Thank you for finding my posts helpful. Most were based from personal experiences and some were from friends who were successful in their applications.
I am still waiting for my DL (currently on the Full Application and Assessment stage with all documents sent and received) so I am not really sure if the one I used in the birth certificate section will be accepted. What I uploaded was a scanned copy of my original birth certificate as I am with the same case as you; the NSO copy isn't so readable. To date, no notifications requesting further documents regarding that are asked from me. I hope it would suffice.

I know, you're asking @dodoy.. I just want to share my experience too.
As for me, my birth certificate from NSO is also not that clear. So they(NSO) told me to get my birth cert from the local civil reg and give it back for them to rectify. After 2 days, I got a new copy of my NSO and its clear. :)
Hope this helps :)

Cool!! thanks.. I've sent you an email! :)
Hey
According to IPAMS/CTN, it is now impossible for us to finish all requirements and proceed with the visa processing,
even though we still have 2 weeks before November 5.
The time frame is not enough.
I highly advise that we take the UKVI IELTS or start preparing for it now. I have already booked mine. :)

Wow, we are indeed in the very same boat because I'm from that agency as well. Just like you, I don't want to settle for the minimum required score of 4 (talk about a little dose of pride hehe) that's why I decided to take it on the 14th or 21st of November to give me a little more time to do some practice. I'd like to have my scores 7.0 and up again in all.
I was interviewed last June (maybe you were there too?), then took the exam last mid-July. It's such a shame that I was only able to send all the documents by September 17. Talk about delays in the release of documents, revisions for the said documents according to IPAMS, difficulty of getting in touch with one of my referees (or more like her evasion), etc.
