Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
So happy tonight because NMC confirmed that they received the document. "Registration Authority VerificationDownloadThis document has been received
Liza rn,Go to your account, in nmc, and beside the download link, it will appear there that the forms are already recieved usually akes 10 to 15 days before it appears, you can check in dhl thru your trackin number if it has arrived in the destination. Usually 3 days only.
Its good to know that you already sent your files to nmc.
At first I thought if a trust signed the letter then they're prioritized with CoS, I was wrong. Walter was the one who assessed me on the practicals when his team visited last April. As seen on the video, 168 nurses were recruited, only 12 got sponsorship certificates. This is frustrating. SMH.
NHS warns nurse immigration rules 'harm patient safety' - BBC NewsShots have been fired. I don't see our employer trust there (BSUH), but hopefully this is significant enough to positively influence the way COS are being allocated for all NHS trusts that have shortages.
The man interviewed here is our nursing educator. I work next to the area where this was filmed. There are lots of Filipinos working in this trust. Most of the hospitals here, if not all, are short-staffed and they rely on bank/agency nurses which cost them so much more. NHS NEEDS MORE NURSES and the government should accept that fact! Don't worry. The nursing force is doing something about this. This cannot go on!!! UK NEEDS MORE NURSES!!!
PRAYERS!! We need prayers indeed.
@petrick, RN I heard you're coming this month? are you? See you real soon!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Sir Mike... I checked the tracking number and NMC received it last Sept 11... Thanks again for the info...

hi petrick,rn
we are all staying right now in the hospital accommodation. I will transfer next month but still with one of the hospital acc. We thought we'd adjust first with everything before we transfer to a house/flat of our own. We extended our contract with the hosp acc for 6 months. it's a great location for starters since it's only 5-10 mins away from the hospital.
we're having osce lectures/assessments during Mondays. It's a self-directed learning but the trust organized sessions for reinforcement. i just borrow books from the library and watch videos online.
It's getting really cold so make sure you bring with you thick coats/jackets. but to tell you honestly i came here without any winter/autumn clothes hahahaha. i bought mine here. :) you'll be fine.
how many of you are flying next week?
SEE YOU IN A FEW DAYS!
Hi everyone.
I have been following this post since page 1.. and with everyone's help here I got really good pointers regarding the CBT exam. I took it yesterday, 18th of September and passed! God is really amazing.
I have paid the £140 right after and downloaded the required forms. And honestly, I am left in a daze. Can you please help me with regards to the full assessment phase? It would be a great help!
First off:
1. For the declaration of health, I am planning to have it done by the company physician of Philips Electronics. I am not affliated to them though. I only worked as a part time company nurse at their office sometime last year. My dilemma is that the doctor doesnt have her own dry seal or wet stamp.. can we use the company's stamp instead? The Philips insigna.
2.for the prc document. Should I go directly to the main office or i have to go back to my province where I registered for it? Will they be the one to send the document?
3. For the employer reference. The hospital seal will suffice right? What if the hospital does not have a seal what can I do? Will the trodat or self inking stamp of the senior nurse be enough?
I am aware that my questions have been answered before but I am still left confused. Please help me. I need it badly.
