Hello everyone! I called my agency Omanfil early this morning to ask for updates regarding our deployment for Addenbrookes and they told me that there have been "backlogs" in the issuance of COS from their employers, which explains the delay of our deployment dates. As for Addenbrookes, they told me that I including 18 other applicants for the said employer, will be deployed probably by October (hopefully our DL's have arrived by then) instead of August, which they told us earlier. Our COS will be issued to us hopefully by August-September, and they said that their employers prefer to issue COS to their applicants once their OSCE invitations are already received. Hmmm all we could just do now is wait, trust Him and pray that everything will push through well.

@infantjesus887 don't panic. That means your docs are received and you are queued for assessment. It takes a month for them to finish it though. Advance congrats!

Hi petrick,

Thanks for inputs.

I wished it would take only one month.

Though my application is in queue since last month 15th.

Will probably make a call to nmc to understand what is happening.

Anybody taken the osce? Any updates?

Or anybody paid for osce? Do we need to contact the uni or nmc after paying? Thanks! í ½í¸Š

Hi Everyone

I take my part one cbt tomorrow and just want to know are we allowed to take calculators into the exam?

Thanks :)

Nope! But don't worry, computations are so simple! :)

Hi Everyone

No, but they hand you a laminated sheet and a marker for any computations. The math-related questions themselves are pretty easy.

Good luck on your exam.

uk has really limited the number of cos per employer per month.. so many delays..

@andy, I got a tip that there are 30 CoS lined for UCLH. Hopefully you're one of 'em ;-)

I saw in a website that next assessment of cos would be this aug 11, successful applicants will have their cos after

@petrick, RN I hope so too! See you and kaname_zero soon!!
